Of Common Sense and Justice

Heavy heart, mind racing, wondering how the hell all the things that happened today happened at all. How could a 'jury' of 7 women and 5 men possibly return a verdict today of 'not guilty'? How could one of the alternate 'jurors' say that George Anthony was not 100% believable(is it necessary to have to believe someone 100% to accept their testimony as believable?), how could one of the 'jurors'(don't know if it's the same one or not)say there wasn't a body decomposing in casey's car trunk? Does common sense go out the window or be left at the doorway of the jury deliberation room after the judge says 'find your verdict in accordance with the law'? Are we reduced to a level so low that we react like robots, not human beings and choose not to use common sense when evaluating evidence? God help us if that's the way it is.

We do we have to have warning labels on any product purchased, from McDonalds coffee to simple aspirin.....WHY? Because common sense has died in our society along with a moral fabric that has decomposed as sure as Caylee Marie Anthony's body has decomposed. People either vegetate in front of the TV daily or bury their heads in the ground like so many ostriches, all the while losing sight of their God given ability to reason; seems a 'live for today' attitude has consumed so damn many Americans that they are willing to accept the acts of selfish, evil people like Casey Marie Anthony and just take the easy way out by saying....'Oh, that's ok, I really don't want to be involved'. I would hope that justice be served in this case for little Caylee, I would also hope that those 12 'jurors' and 5 'alternate jurors' realize the mistake and miscarriage of justice they delivered today after only deliberating for a tad over 10 short hours and that realization comes back to haunt them to their graves. You think me harsh? Well, I assure you.....I'm not as harsh as what casey did to her daughter Caylee nor as harsh as casey's family will find life after this day.....the day that common sense and justice died in The United States of America.

For those of you that may be wondering why there was not more DNA evidence recovered, look at the above photo, you'll notice the drop from the street level to where Caylee's remains were recovered....that drop is about 4 to 5 feet and during the time Caylee was thrown there tropical storm Faye had that area flooded up to street level and at times, covered the street. Couple that with the heat and humidity of Central Florida from June to late September, and you'll have a semi understanding as to why things were found the way they were. I'll also call into question the Orange County Fl. Sheriff's Department.....why didn't the Deputy responding to Roy Kronk's night time call just rope off the area until morning to allow other deputies using proper gear to enter that wooded area and conduct a proper search. Instead he gets irritated with Kronk, berates him and shuffles off for donuts and hot coffee; this is where you'll find shoddy work, not with the M.E or States Attorney.

Casey Anthony was found not guilty today but her Father George was found guilty....therein lies the travesty............

Who do you trust?

This past year there have been a lot of 'changes' politically in our country....how many of them have been good? In the past I have categorized Barrack Hussein Obama as a 'divider' not a 'uniter', I feel compelled to re-address that at this point....BHO has managed to do us all a great service, he has 'united' us in a way that slipped under the radar, he didn't unite us along racial lines, ethnic lines, nor social lines....he united us as a country against the government take-over of our Democratic Republic.

It started this past November with the Gubernatorial elections in New Jersey and Virginia, culminating in the special election held yesterday in Massachusetts for the seat in the Senate long held by teddy kennedy. All along the way, the people have been voicing their opinions at Tea Party Rallies, Town Hall meetings, letters, emails and phone calls to their various representatives in Congress. They have, for the most part, been ignored....the only response from the left was negative in one way or the other; ranging from 'astro-turf' to 'un-ruly mobs of nazis'. They moved along doing what they thought 'best for us'...not caring one way or the other how we felt or what was being said. Will they listen now and can they be trusted to stay on track? To this I say, maybe they'll listen a little better but only till after the next election this coming November (they hold their positions in government as 'rights', not 'privilege') ... as far as trusting them, can a traitor ever really be trusted once they've switched sides?

There comes to mind a few elected Senators who have 'sold out' the very people they represent, Senator Ben Nelson, Senator Blanche Lincoln, Senator Landrieu, Senator Bill Nelson (my favorite turncoat, only because he is supposed to be representing me and my fellow Floridians), these and others of their ilk need to be replaced, post-haste.....personally, I've written Bill Nelson two times and called his office once in the past four weeks....response was nil. Far as I am concerned he's a lame duck Senator....he has 'screwed the pooch' for the last time in my opinion.

Any elected official, who now backtracks, cannot be trusted and should not be re-elected...ask yourself where are their hearts, really? They will revert to their own ways as soon as the 'storm' passes....believe me they will

On the Fringe

Ahhhhhh, where to begin: I've taken a lot of time off, mostly through disgust at the politicos...left and right wings. The president...Barrack Hussein Obama...has backed the plays of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi to get his ludicrous health care bill poised for passage, authorizing taxpayer money to bribe Senators for their votes....and allowing extortion tactics (threatening the closure of Offut Air Force Base in Nebraska) in order to obtain votes. Is this the Congress that Pelosi said was going to be the most open, law-abiding and clean Congress on record? I think not, madam Speaker and majority leader Reid have been, and continue to spit in the very faces of the People on a daily basis. Harry 'Gollum' Reid has been relatively silent the past few days since he strong-armed getting his 60 necessary votes for cloture in the Senate; now Speaker Pelosi is throwing elbows at the Boss....B.H.O. ie:

"There are a number of things he was for on the campaign trail".

This was her response when asked about the pledge Obama made while campaigning 'to have all negotiations public and broadcast on C-Span'.

This woman is out of control and on a power trip, wanting it all both ways. Another example of what she stands for comes from her spokesperson, ie:

"It was a quip, not a jab at anyone".
"She's setting up for the conference", said a leadership staffer. "It's strategic, she's staking out her territory".

'Her territory'? Really, I thought she worked for the People and their territory. Very few of us (thank GOD) live in her congressional district but we are still, all constituents of this macabre woman and I believe she needs a 'prodding' for herself to remind her of that fact. It's not 'all about Nancy' so you better get used to it.

But wait, this is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg, 'cap and trade' is about to be shoved down our collective (no pun intended) throats...you know, the bill, that if passed, will absolutely kill our economy. This bill is based solely on the lie that is 'Climate Change' and/or, 'Global Warming'....no matter how it's sliced and served, it's a lie. Putting a 'cap' (read, tax) on Co2 emissions is ridiculous bordering absurd...C02 is what we all expell while breathing....C02 is absorbed by all the trees, bushes and other foliage in the world and turned back into breathable oxygen....all the carbon footprint BS amounts to is a way for some to line their pockets with the working man's money and at the expense of the few. The recent summit on climate change held in Copenhagen only shows what real disregard they hold us all in, what was their 'carbon footprint'? All the private planes, all the rented S.U.V's and limos....were they really necessary? When are the regular people going to rise up and say....'Hey, practice what you preach'. How can those in power and they that will benefit monetarily, be the ones who tell us what to drive, decide how much we can drive and what temperature we should keep our homes set to? Think about that and ask yourself, 'why do they get to tell us but not do it themselves'?

This all makes me physically ill and just as mad as hell.

I learned a long, long time ago to 'remember from where I came', to not have anyone who worked under me, do something I hadn't done or wouldn't be willing to do myself. If this pile of buffalo chips health care program is so good, why aren't the legislators and obama snapping it up for themselves? You guessed it....it sucks! We've heard almost 24/7 about the 47 million 'Americans' who aren't covered by health insurance; let's examine that falsehood preached by obama...kick back, pop a top, pour another coffee or have an iced tea and read this little beauty:

1. Obama's '47 Million Uninsured' Claim Is False:

President Barack Obama claimed during his Wednesday (22 July '09) night press conference that there are 47 million Americans without health insurance.

A simple check with the U.S. Census Bureau would have told him otherwise.

Obama said: "This is not just about the 47 million Americans who have no health insurance."

That assertion conflicts with data in the Census Bureau report "Income, Poverty, and Health Insurance Coverage in the United States: 2007." The report was issued in August 2008 and contains the most up-to-date official data on the number of uninsured in the U.S.

The report discloses that there were 45.65 million people in the U.S. who did not have health insurance in 2007.

However, it also reveals that there were 9.73 million foreigners — foreign-born non-citizens who were in the country in 2007 — included in that number. So the number of uninsured Americans was actually 35.92 million.

And of those, "there were also 9.1 million people making more than $75,000 per year who did not choose to purchase health insurance," CNSNews stated in a report based on the Census Bureau data.

That brings the number of Americans who lack health insurance presumably for financial reasons down less than 27 million.

The Census Bureau report also shows that the number of people without insurance actually went down in 2007 compared to the previous year — from 47 million to 45.65 million — while the number with insurance rose from 249.8 million to 253.4 million.

The next Census Bureau report disclosing health insurance data, with 2008 numbers, is scheduled to be released in August, and could figure in the health care reform debate.

Now I raise this question....of this less than 27 million people, how many really can't get coverage and how many are illegal aliens (sue me, I refuse to be politically correct....they aren't here legally so they are illegal), who are covered by Medicaid? What a thought....illegals receiving medicaid but being touted by the obama administration as 'un-insured'....yes Virginia, only in America! Where the legislators, even the president, do not READ the legislation before signing it into law. When you or I go to a bank or other lending institution for a home or car loan, the contract gets read....when was the last time you, signed a contract for something without knowing what was in it and how much it would cost or obligate you to? That's the point exactly....never! TARP money has been mis-used, stimulus money and a budget that is so extremely out of control and non-functional are this administration's claim to fame.

Hey obama, tell your buddy gates that the next time it appears his home might be being broken in to...to call you instead of the police....after all, you are the 'great one', who would dare go against your wishes or not abide to your will; all the burglars in the world, quake at the mere mention of your name.

The leader of Iran is nothing more than a criminal terrorist, one who was involed directly with the takeover of our Embassy in Tehran in '79, he's broken agreements on nuclear proliferation, developing nuclear weapons and financing proxy wars against Israel (Hezbollah, Hamas and probably way more little known groups along with arming insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan). All the while, hussein obama is giving the green light to any and all Muslim Extremist groups, bowing to his King in Saudi Arabia, denouncing Israel's right to defend itself from all the aggressors surrounding it while acting the part of 'peacemaker'...Lord have Mercy, how blind and stupid are we?

Now, as I move on to things happening here by our liberal fanatics, the name contessa green (if her name isn't green, it should be) doing an interview with some conservative whose name escapes me, gets all up in arms and insulted because she was asked questions that in her feeble mind, Sarah Palin, should be able to absorb as humor by david letterman...the late night 'hitman' of the left. Any woman out there that would not get upset being called 'slutty' and having to hear that her daughter was 'knocked up by A-Rod at Yankee Stadium while she was watching a ball game'...please step forward; you, I have to meet. Sarah Palin is a Governor, a past Vice-Presidential candidate and above all, a woman with class; for her to have to endure being ridiculed like that even if she is a public figure, goes beyond the pale. If any find that it's acceptable then I find it acceptable to refer to letterman, madonna, britney and paris as filthy trash, along with the females mentioned as being sluts and letterman a pimp in the same fashion as obama...fair enough?

We, as a nation, had better wake the hell up before we find ourselves in a gulag, konzentration kamp or ghetto run by Muslims and/or black panthers (obama's new gestapo); we already have to hear from some black convert to Islam about why he's not guilty of murder in killing an American Serviceman...Pvt. Long...and at the same time, we hear from the left wing media that Dr. Tiller was a hero and the guy who shot him is an extremist and guilty of murdering any pregnant woman's 'best friend' and 'last hope' for a decent life...give me a break, if pregnancy is not wanted by these women for choice, keep your knees together girlies and give up that 'slutty' life you lead....or, get the f**k on the pill!

The above, relevant thoughts from very wise men, remain as a way to guide our elected officials to this very day; apparently, those in power do not see them that way or more likely do not realize they exist. I wonder as I re-read these wise words, how we managed to get into the situation of today; our Constitution was written to set down the way we would be governed based on individuals rights, state's rights and how involved the federal government was to be in regards to those rights. The federal government was put in place to safeguard the individuals, state's rights along with protection from interference and/or interference from foreign powers; how then did we come to the point of the federal government being 'in charge' of our everyday lives?

The Supreme Court of the land has one sole purpose....to interpret and apply the laws as written in the Constitution, not to set policy or legislate from the bench. If we feel our inalienable rights, guaranteed by the Constitution, are being infringed on we have the right of appeal, all the way to the Supreme Court. This is all well and good but poses another question in my mind; why can't the lower courts do what their reason for being do what is right and constitutionally right before the appeal has to get presented to the highest court in the land? Is it (as I believe) that these lower federal courts are politicized? Why wait until a judge is appointed to the supreme court to properly vest these judges when they should be more closely scrutinized at these lower levels? It's the same principal as I see it, as to how a politician moves up the 'ladder' to run for Congress or Senator...including President. The incompetent, the biased, those with chips on their shoulders should be weeded out early but we've grown accustomed to the 'political grease' ascending the 'favorites of the lobbyists' up the political ladder.

Corruption isn't reserved for only the highest offices, it starts early and has become acceptable. Are we so gullible as to believe campaign rhetoric, then turn the other cheek while our rights, our right for pursuit of happiness, get trampled under? Way more people than not, do not think of themselves as gullible, why then, is more attention not paid to the action and right of voting for our leaders? Why is settling for one over the other considered 'the lesser of two evils'? Why do voters say things like, 'he or she is good looking, so they get my vote'? The latter isn't being gullible, it's plain ridiculous! Same as voting for someone who promises the impossible...yes, I'm speaking of universal health care....but doesn't explain where they'll get the cash funds to pay for all our 'wants' over all our 'needs'. Mick Jagger said it best..'You can't always get what you want...but if you try sometimes, you'll get what you need'. Next time y'all decide to buy something and are short of finances...ask yourself this question...do I need it or do I just want it?

The democrats want Sonia Sotomayor on the Supreme Court...but I ask you, based on her biased, racist comments, do we really need her on that Bench?

Now, I want to touch on the situations in Iran and N. Korea...BatMan's sidekick said it best..."Holy Moley BatMan"...if N. Korea gets off with doing what they've been doing these past few weeks, how can we expect Iran to 'take a more positive, in the world's interests', approach to acquiring a nuclear weapon'? IMHO, they are on the final approach to acquiring one as I type and you read; also IMHO, Israel should not be scolded by our government about removing Iran's nuclear capability to date, just as we cannot sit idly by and put up with the threats from N. Korea considering they already have a nuclear capability. They no longer are obliged to be bound by the cease-fire agreement of 1953, that interprets into a resumption of hostilities, that needs to be addressed....aggressively and soon. There'll be more on this later.
