Heavy heart, mind racing, wondering how the hell all the things that happened today happened at all. How could a 'jury' of 7 women and 5 men possibly return a verdict today of 'not guilty'? How could one of the alternate 'jurors' say that George Anthony was not 100% believable(is it necessary to have to believe someone 100% to accept their testimony as believable?), how could one of the 'jurors'(don't know if it's the same one or not)say there wasn't a body decomposing in casey's car trunk? Does common sense go out the window or be left at the doorway of the jury deliberation room after the judge says 'find your verdict in accordance with the law'? Are we reduced to a level so low that we react like robots, not human beings and choose not to use common sense when evaluating evidence? God help us if that's the way it is.

We do we have to have warning labels on any product purchased, from McDonalds coffee to simple aspirin.....WHY? Because common sense has died in our society along with a moral fabric that has decomposed as sure as Caylee Marie Anthony's body has decomposed. People either vegetate in front of the TV daily or bury their heads in the ground like so many ostriches, all the while losing sight of their God given ability to reason; seems a 'live for today' attitude has consumed so damn many Americans that they are willing to accept the acts of selfish, evil people like Casey Marie Anthony and just take the easy way out by saying....'Oh, that's ok, I really don't want to be involved'. I would hope that justice be served in this case for little Caylee, I would also hope that those 12 'jurors' and 5 'alternate jurors' realize the mistake and miscarriage of justice they delivered today after only deliberating for a tad over 10 short hours and that realization comes back to haunt them to their graves. You think me harsh? Well, I assure you.....I'm not as harsh as what casey did to her daughter Caylee nor as harsh as casey's family will find life after this day.....the day that common sense and justice died in The United States of America.

For those of you that may be wondering why there was not more DNA evidence recovered, look at the above photo, you'll notice the drop from the street level to where Caylee's remains were recovered....that drop is about 4 to 5 feet and during the time Caylee was thrown there tropical storm Faye had that area flooded up to street level and at times, covered the street. Couple that with the heat and humidity of Central Florida from June to late September, and you'll have a semi understanding as to why things were found the way they were. I'll also call into question the Orange County Fl. Sheriff's Department.....why didn't the Deputy responding to Roy Kronk's night time call just rope off the area until morning to allow other deputies using proper gear to enter that wooded area and conduct a proper search. Instead he gets irritated with Kronk, berates him and shuffles off for donuts and hot coffee; this is where you'll find shoddy work, not with the M.E or States Attorney.

Casey Anthony was found not guilty today but her Father George was found guilty....therein lies the travesty............

This past year there have been a lot of 'changes' politically in our country....how many of them have been good? In the past I have categorized Barrack Hussein Obama as a 'divider' not a 'uniter', I feel compelled to re-address that at this point....BHO has managed to do us all a great service, he has 'united' us in a way that slipped under the radar, he didn't unite us along racial lines, ethnic lines, nor social lines....he united us as a country against the government take-over of our Democratic Republic.

It started this past November with the Gubernatorial elections in New Jersey and Virginia, culminating in the special election held yesterday in Massachusetts for the seat in the Senate long held by teddy kennedy. All along the way, the people have been voicing their opinions at Tea Party Rallies, Town Hall meetings, letters, emails and phone calls to their various representatives in Congress. They have, for the most part, been ignored....the only response from the left was negative in one way or the other; ranging from 'astro-turf' to 'un-ruly mobs of nazis'. They moved along doing what they thought 'best for us'...not caring one way or the other how we felt or what was being said. Will they listen now and can they be trusted to stay on track? To this I say, maybe they'll listen a little better but only till after the next election this coming November (they hold their positions in government as 'rights', not 'privilege') ... as far as trusting them, can a traitor ever really be trusted once they've switched sides?

There comes to mind a few elected Senators who have 'sold out' the very people they represent, Senator Ben Nelson, Senator Blanche Lincoln, Senator Landrieu, Senator Bill Nelson (my favorite turncoat, only because he is supposed to be representing me and my fellow Floridians), these and others of their ilk need to be replaced, post-haste.....personally, I've written Bill Nelson two times and called his office once in the past four weeks....response was nil. Far as I am concerned he's a lame duck Senator....he has 'screwed the pooch' for the last time in my opinion.

Any elected official, who now backtracks, cannot be trusted and should not be re-elected...ask yourself where are their hearts, really? They will revert to their own ways as soon as the 'storm' passes....believe me they will

Ahhhhhh, where to begin: I've taken a lot of time off, mostly through disgust at the politicos...left and right wings. The president...Barrack Hussein Obama...has backed the plays of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi to get his ludicrous health care bill poised for passage, authorizing taxpayer money to bribe Senators for their votes....and allowing extortion tactics (threatening the closure of Offut Air Force Base in Nebraska) in order to obtain votes. Is this the Congress that Pelosi said was going to be the most open, law-abiding and clean Congress on record? I think not, madam Speaker and majority leader Reid have been, and continue to spit in the very faces of the People on a daily basis. Harry 'Gollum' Reid has been relatively silent the past few days since he strong-armed getting his 60 necessary votes for cloture in the Senate; now Speaker Pelosi is throwing elbows at the Boss....B.H.O. ie:

"There are a number of things he was for on the campaign trail".

This was her response when asked about the pledge Obama made while campaigning 'to have all negotiations public and broadcast on C-Span'.

This woman is out of control and on a power trip, wanting it all both ways. Another example of what she stands for comes from her spokesperson, ie:

"It was a quip, not a jab at anyone".
"She's setting up for the conference", said a leadership staffer. "It's strategic, she's staking out her territory".

'Her territory'? Really, I thought she worked for the People and their territory. Very few of us (thank GOD) live in her congressional district but we are still, all constituents of this macabre woman and I believe she needs a 'prodding' for herself to remind her of that fact. It's not 'all about Nancy' so you better get used to it.

But wait, this is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg, 'cap and trade' is about to be shoved down our collective (no pun intended) throats...you know, the bill, that if passed, will absolutely kill our economy. This bill is based solely on the lie that is 'Climate Change' and/or, 'Global Warming'....no matter how it's sliced and served, it's a lie. Putting a 'cap' (read, tax) on Co2 emissions is ridiculous bordering absurd...C02 is what we all expell while breathing....C02 is absorbed by all the trees, bushes and other foliage in the world and turned back into breathable oxygen....all the carbon footprint BS amounts to is a way for some to line their pockets with the working man's money and at the expense of the few. The recent summit on climate change held in Copenhagen only shows what real disregard they hold us all in, what was their 'carbon footprint'? All the private planes, all the rented S.U.V's and limos....were they really necessary? When are the regular people going to rise up and say....'Hey, practice what you preach'. How can those in power and they that will benefit monetarily, be the ones who tell us what to drive, decide how much we can drive and what temperature we should keep our homes set to? Think about that and ask yourself, 'why do they get to tell us but not do it themselves'?

This all makes me physically ill and just as mad as hell.

If this pile of buffalo chips health care program is so good, why aren't the legislators and obama snapping it up for themselves? You guessed it....it sucks! We've heard almost 24/7 about the 47 million 'Americans' who aren't covered by health insurance; let's examine that falsehood preached by obama...kick back, pop a top, pour another coffee or have an iced tea and read this little beauty:

1. Obama's '47 Million Uninsured' Claim Is False:

President Barack Obama claimed during his Wednesday (22 July '09) night press conference that there are 47 million Americans without health insurance.

A simple check with the U.S. Census Bureau would have told him otherwise.

Obama said: "This is not just about the 47 million Americans who have no health insurance."

That assertion conflicts with data in the Census Bureau report "Income, Poverty, and Health Insurance Coverage in the United States: 2007." The report was issued in August 2008 and contains the most up-to-date official data on the number of uninsured in the U.S.

The report discloses that there were 45.65 million people in the U.S. who did not have health insurance in 2007.

However, it also reveals that there were 9.73 million foreigners — foreign-born non-citizens who were in the country in 2007 — included in that number. So the number of uninsured Americans was actually 35.92 million.

And of those, "there were also 9.1 million people making more than $75,000 per year who did not choose to purchase health insurance," CNSNews stated in a report based on the Census Bureau data.

That brings the number of Americans who lack health insurance presumably for financial reasons down less than 27 million.

The Census Bureau report also shows that the number of people without insurance actually went down in 2007 compared to the previous year — from 47 million to 45.65 million — while the number with insurance rose from 249.8 million to 253.4 million.

The next Census Bureau report disclosing health insurance data, with 2008 numbers, is scheduled to be released in August, and could figure in the health care reform debate.

Now I raise this question....of this less than 27 million people, how many really can't get coverage and how many are illegal aliens (sue me, I refuse to be politically correct....they aren't here legally so they are illegal), who are covered by Medicaid? Where the legislators, even the president, do not READ the legislation before signing it into law. When you or I go to a bank or other lending institution for a home or car loan, the contract gets read....when was the last time you, signed a contract for something without knowing what was in it and how much it would cost or obligate you to? That's the point exactly....never! TARP money has been mis-used, stimulus money and a budget that is so extremely out of control and non-functional are this administration's claim to fame.

Hey obama, tell your buddy gates that the next time it appears his home might be being broken in to...to call you instead of the police....after all, you are the 'great one', who would dare go against your wishes or not abide to your will; all the burglars in the world, quake at the mere mention of your name.

Well, here he is...the 'saviour' of the Muslim World...oh those eyes; the only eyes I can think of in comparison belonged to the Fuhrer of the Third Reich: yes, that exactly what I meant to say! What a lot of people are thinking, I'm willing...in fact, more than willing, to say it loud. This individual is not dumb, naive or anything other than intelligent...he's doing exactly as he planned it out; destroy the USA and allow the Muslim Extremists the access and ability to wreak havoc in order to justify their existence. The leader of Iran is nothing more than a criminal terrorist, one who was involed directly with the takeover of our Embassy in Tehran in '79, he's broken agreements on nuclear proliferation, developing nuclear weapons and financing proxy wars against Israel (Hezbollah, Hamas and probably way more little known groups along with arming insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan). All the while, hussein obama is giving the green light to any and all Muslim Extremist groups, bowing to his King in Saudi Arabia, denouncing Israel's right to defend itself from all the aggressors surrounding it while acting the part of 'peacemaker'...Lord have Mercy, how blind and stupid are we?

Any woman out there that would not get upset being called 'slutty' and having to hear that her daughter was 'knocked up by A-Rod at Yankee Stadium while she was watching a ball game'...please step forward; you, I have to meet. Sarah Palin is a Governor, a past Vice-Presidential candidate and above all, a woman with class; for her to have to endure being ridiculed like that even if she is a public figure, goes beyond the pale. If any find that it's acceptable then I find it acceptable to refer to letterman, madonna, britney and paris as filthy trash, along with the females mentioned as being sluts and letterman a pimp in the same fashion as obama...fair enough?

We, as a nation, had better wake the hell up before we find ourselves in a gulag, konzentration kamp or ghetto run by Muslims and/or black panthers (obama's new gestapo); we already have to hear from some black convert to Islam about why he's not guilty of murder in killing an American Serviceman...Pvt. The above, relevant thoughts from very wise men, remain as a way to guide our elected officials to this very day; apparently, those in power do not see them that way or more likely do not realize they exist. I wonder as I re-read these wise words, how we managed to get into the situation of today; our Constitution was written to set down the way we would be governed based on individuals rights, state's rights and how involved the federal government was to be in regards to those rights. The federal government was put in place to safeguard the individuals, state's rights along with protection from interference and/or interference from foreign powers; how then did we come to the point of the federal government being 'in charge' of our everyday lives?

The Supreme Court of the land has one sole purpose....to interpret and apply the laws as written in the Constitution, not to set policy or legislate from the bench. If we feel our inalienable rights, guaranteed by the Constitution, are being infringed on we have the right of appeal, all the way to the Supreme Court. This is all well and good but poses another question in my mind; why can't the lower courts do what their reason for being do what is right and constitutionally right before the appeal has to get presented to the highest court in the land? Is it (as I believe) that these lower federal courts are politicized? Why wait until a judge is appointed to the supreme court to properly vest these judges when they should be more closely scrutinized at these lower levels? It's the same principal as I see it, as to how a politician moves up the 'ladder' to run for Congress or Senator...including President. The incompetent, the biased, those with chips on their shoulders should be weeded out early but we've grown accustomed to the 'political grease' ascending the 'favorites of the lobbyists' up the political ladder.

Corruption isn't reserved for only the highest offices, it starts early and has become acceptable. Are we so gullible as to believe campaign rhetoric, then turn the other cheek while our rights, our right for pursuit of happiness, get trampled under? Way more people than not, do not think of themselves as gullible, why then, is more attention not paid to the action and right of voting for our leaders? Why is settling for one over the other considered 'the lesser of two evils'? Why do voters say things like, 'he or she is good looking, so they get my vote'? The latter isn't being gullible, it's plain ridiculous! Same as voting for someone who promises the impossible...yes, I'm speaking of universal health care....but doesn't explain where they'll get the cash funds to pay for all our 'wants' over all our 'needs'. Mick Jagger said it best..'You can't always get what you want...but if you try sometimes, you'll get what you need'. Next time y'all decide to buy something and are short of finances...ask yourself this question...do I need it or do I just want it?

The democrats want Sonia Sotomayor on the Supreme Court...but I ask you, based on her biased, racist comments, do we really need her on that Bench?

Korea gets off with doing what they've been doing these past few weeks, how can we expect Iran to 'take a more positive, in the world's interests', approach to acquiring a nuclear weapon'? IMHO, they are on the final approach to acquiring one as I type and you read; also IMHO, Israel should not be scolded by our government about removing Iran's nuclear capability to date, just as we cannot sit idly by and put up with the threats from N. Korea considering they already have a nuclear capability. They no longer are obliged to be bound by the cease-fire agreement of 1953, that interprets into a resumption of hostilities, that needs to be addressed....aggressively and soon. There'll be more on this later.

....Today is National Prayer Day: all over the country Christian folks paused to pray this morning, wherever they were....the pimp decided to pray in private; I wonder why, could it be the act of someone whose hiding what he believes in? For me, in my humble opinion, it would be a way of uniting the country in the common principle's our Founding Fathers based our independence and freedoms on; could it be that the pimp prayed kneeling, facing east? Wouldn't a public prayer ceremony have done more to unite the people of our country? Come to think of it, the pimp don't give one hoot about the USA, his interests are with himself and paying back the 'debts' owed to those who pushed him into the office that he disgraces on a daily basis. He campaigned as a uniter, when in fact, he's a divider who is hell-bent on destroying the USA. He's run up national debt and borrowing like none before him while on the other hand, has weakened us as a nation so that those who plot our demise have the upper hand. What does his overseas contingency plan do to hold the taliban in check....nothing! Once again, he campaigned that he'd handle these situations as his predecessor, George W. Bush did but he's backed completely away from those campaign words and appeases those who intend us harm and/or extinction. The taliban is on the verge of over-powering Pakistan and acquiring nuclear weapons, make no mistake in their intent; he's sent billions of U.S. dollars in aid to the enemies of Israel who are bent on Israel's destruction....why is that? Does he not realize that money will be used to purchase weapons to destroy Israel along with any country that does not share their totalitarian beliefs? His own VP pick stated before the election in November that their administration would be tested within 6 months and not to be surprised if they made the wrong decisions. We cannot wait for the pimp to graduate from presidency 101, he has to make the right decisions/choices NOW, or we pay dire consequences. Enough with the lousy choices and 'pretend naivety', any rational thinking person would not be doing what the pimp is doing unless they have ulterior motives....which I believe are the destruction of the USA as we know it now and in the past....the USA that many lives were lost over the history of our country protecting our nation and it's way of life; barack hussein obama, I consider you a traitor to this Nation....if you are indeed a citizen in the first place....and if not a citizen, then you are an out right menace and enemy to be dealt with as any enemy of the USA.

The 'queer rights' movement in this free and open society that we enjoy (supposedly) living in here in the USA, hilton perez for example, what business does he have judging the beauty of a woman when, in fact, he prefers MEN? He is shown calling Miss Prejean a "blonde bitch"; well, there are those who will let perez know exactly what he is, and it isn't a liver of an 'alternative lifestyle'....he's a flaming queer.

Another point to be made here on this topic of 'culture' and 'political correctness' was revealed last evening as I watched a segment of The Glenn Beck show on FNC...the national spokesman for a.c.o.r.n., a radical wing of the liberal left, asked Glenn if he was "afraid of black people". This came about as Glenn asked this individual about the charges of voter registration fraud commencing next month in Nevada....there are other states that will follow suit I'm sure. Point is, just because a.c.o.r.n. is predominately a black community organizer group, how did the question of being "afraid of black people" come to be? Could it be a way of insinuating that Glenn Beck is racist? Or that anyone who has their own misgivings about a.c.o.r.n. a racist also? Is this not another form of intimidation? I believe it is....it's intimidation in the way of altering freedom of speech and expression, both of which are being eroding daily....even hourly.

Breaking news from yesterday revealed that arlen specter, fled the Republican Party to seek refuge from 'forced(by the people of Pennsylvania who vote)retirement'. In my humble opinion, that's a good thing simply because Senator specter did not represent Pennsylvania nor the nation, as a whole, in the Senate; he was however, a 'wolf in sheep's clothing', an unscrupulous 'loose cannon' and self appointed 'important person'. Goodbye arlen...all people bring joy to a group, whether by joining the group or leaving the group...goodbye arlen!

All one can hope for now, is an awakening of the populace(there have been a number of wake-up calls recently)to rid our Senate, House of Representatives and the White House of all that would take part in destroying the nation our Founding Fathers fought to create. The fathers realized the impact of over-burdening the populace with taxes, went as far as sending a message to the King of England by staging the Boston Tea Party....of which the theme was 'no taxation without representation'. We now have 'representatives' in Washington that no longer really represent the populace...instead, they seek only riches for themselves along with status and power. The recent 'Tea Parties' held across the nation in towns, large and small, signal to Washington that the people, have had enough of no representation....on both sides of the aisle! I anticipate a gigantic upheaval come November 2010 as the leeches get tossed out on their collective arses, let the 'thuds' begin! As we all know, those very same 'leeches' will rise to the occasion and promise all sorts of 'reform', lying about this and that and continue to blame conservatives along with George W. Bush for the incompetent mess we have on our hands to sort out and clean up. Truth be known, these same 'saviours' are the ones responsible for the current mess...are you listening jamie gorelick, barney frank, chris dodd?

How incompetent is it that Air Force One, did a fly-over NYC and no one knows who set it in motion? AF-1 is the personal 'taxi cab' for the White House pimp and he doesn't have a clue? Was michelle out with her card or garden club joy riding for a couple hours at taxpayer expense? Was arlen specter taking in the sights of what he thought could be future treasure for him to accumulate? The idiot White House press secretary, stumbled and bumbled for answers, coming forth with none...maybe he should have borrowed the pimp's tele-prompter...we could call it the gibbs-prompter...seeing how he speaks with the same 'nuances' the pimp uses, which are not nuances, but mindless word searches in an empty head. The pimp has never had an original thought in his entire life.

How incompetent is it to name a treasury secretary that cheated on paying his own taxes....and was not held accountable for late fees and fines that a regular citizen would be burdened with the rest of their lives? Or a Secretary of Homeland Security that doesn't acknowledge 'terrorism' but instead calls it a 'man made disaster' and calls the war on terrorism an 'overseas contingency operation'? As Govenor of her own state, Arizona, allowed things at the mexican border to deterorate to the point that Phoenix is the kidnappers capital of the U.S. In the pimp's administration, incompetence abounds, from top to bottom with one exception...General James Jones, and I'm sure he's only in place without a voice as a token to the people who really care about the future of the U.S.

Dire straits are before us people and unless we stand tall and rebuke the policies of the pimp we will go down in history as a people who were blinded byempty promises and led by the nose into oblivion.

It is my belief, and I'm sure that of a lot of my fellow Americans, that this pimp has gone way too far....out of control, un-necessary spending...tax increase proposals that will cripple the heart and soul workers of America...those that made the USA a great and powerful nation; those that shed blood, paid the ultimate price so that we could live our lives in relative freedom with security. Yet the descendants of those Warriors that made and protected our country for so many years are the ones who elected the pimp; why? Because they thought as a country, we could shed the guilt of slavery, or impress upon the world that we're really nice people that mean no harm to another nation? The pimp goes to the G20 summit, hat in hand...begging like a pauper, sends messages around the world that say loud and clear....America is a weak nation, that we have to beg, borrow and hope other nations, dictators and terror groups will not attack us again.

Korea launched a ballistic missile, shortly thereafter, Somali pirates seized an American flagged merchant vessel...hey pimp! These people have no interest in negotiating, no interest in living in a peaceful world unless it's on their terms! You say you aren't naive...maybe you aren't...maybe you're just flat out stupit or......you are doing exactly what you intended to do...enable these terror states to continue unabated. Under jimmy carter, Iran over ran our Embassy in Tehran...an act of war by the way...what did the peanut farmer do? A weak, unsuccessful attempt to retake the Embassy and you want to sit down and talk with these rogues?

Think about it pimp...just what have you accomplished in the first months of your presidency? N. Korea is a click away from being able to hit the U.S. with a ballistic missile, Iran is on the verge of becoming nuclear capable(N. Korea already is pimp, they just go through the motions of convincing the world they aren't) and Somali pirates have hijacked one of our ships....what have you really done? Do you need a couple more days to think things thru to make up your mind? You are not showing anything even close to resembling leadership, even your teleprompter knows better what to do than your dumba**! Russia is frothing at the mouth with the thought that they will persevere and overcome the loss of the cold war....have you no idea who they are aligned with? N. Korea, Communist China, Cuba, Iran and the terror groups that are plotting our demise as a nation. Do I have disdain for you? You bet! Do I hold you in disgust? You bet!

Sudden Sam

I spoke with a very close friend last nite, it'd been a few months since we'd had contact; Eric and I worked at the Post Office together for over 18 years. It is a real heartbreaker to type this up because I remember when 'Sam' came into Eric's home and he's gone now without my having(or taking)the time to see him before Sam left us. When I got full custody of my son Zach, the daycare I took him to was across the street from Eric's home....in fact, Eric recommended 'Miss Vee' to me. Zach and Sam became close friends immediately, we'd stop after I picked him up and go sit with Eric, his wife and Sam....was a beautiful thing, Sam was far bigger than Zach but ever so gentle and Zach would let Sam have treats from his little hands. On mornings that I worked and Eric was off, I'd find Sam in my van, sitting in the driver's seat as I'd return to go to work....I will miss Sam, as much as I miss Sally and Eric's Son...tragically taken way too early in life. As you can see in the above photo, Sam was as much a 'joker' as the rest of us.....I pray our Lord will embrace Sam along with Sally and Dane until we can all be together again. Below is a letter Eric wrote to the local paper, not sure if it was published because I don't read it any longer, I do want to ensure however, that Sam's passing and the story of how Eric got Sam, will be known. For you Sam, one last 'WOOF!'

I would like to thank whomever "dumped" the little brown boy dog with the black face, and the too small red collar in the neighborhood north of Lake Margaret and Conway road about thirteen years ago. At the time, I was the mailman that delivered mail in that neighborhood. When I first met the year old puppy, there were two kids screaming in their yard about the dog that (in their minds) was sure to tear them up. I picked the little dog up, and carried it to the next yard. I explained to the dog that the kids didn't want him in their yard, and that he didn't belong there, and that he should find someplace else to be. I put the dog down, and told him again not to go back there, and to be careful where he wandered.

I continued along my route until I came upon a fenced yard with a dog inside the fence barking at me when suddenly appeared that little brown dog with the black face and the too small red collar standing between me and the fence, facing the dog in the yard that was barking at me. The little dog was barking at the other, larger dog, as if telling it to back off. I delivered the mail, and continued on my way. The little dog disappeared, of on other adventures, I thought.
I didn't think much of it, until the next yard where another dog was barking at me, and there again appeared that little brown dog with the black face, and to red collar. This happened at least once more while I delivered mail in that area.

I moved the mail truck up a short street, around the corner, where I had to continue walking, delivering mail. Apparently the little dog had followed my truck, as the next time there was a large dog chained in a yard barking at me, there again was that little brown dog with the black face, and the too small red collar, again facing the offending dog, barking for all he was worth at the larger dog.

I finished walking my route, got in my truck, and proceeded on to my next area. I looked in the mirror as I started down the street, and there was that little brown dog chasing my mail truck. I didn't want him chasing me into the next, larger street, so I stopped, and talked to a man at his house, trying to figure out how to get that dog to stop following me. As I talked the the man, the little dog began eating birdseed in the man's carport, so I slipped back to my truck, and continued on my way.

Throughout the day, that little brown dog started working in my head. By the end of my deliveries, I was sure that the puppy was going to starve, get hit by a car, get picked up by animal control and put to sleep. Something bad was bound to happen to that little, so I went to the place where I had "ditched" him. I went up and down the streets, but I couldn't find him anywhere. I finally stopped at a house where the people there "adopted" many dogs. I explained to them that I was looking for that little brown dog with the black face, and the too small red collar, and that if they found it, The lady on the corner had my phone number, and to please call me.

I finished out my shift, and returned home. When my wife came home, I told her about my day, and the little brown dog, and that I had not been able to find it when I went looking. She told me it was just as well, as we already had a dog (Sally).

I was doing some work out front, when my wife appeared with the telephone, saying it was for me. I answered the phone with a hello, and the lady on the other end said "This is Mrs. K--- I have your dog". Well, I told my wife that we may have another dog, anyway. I got in my car, and headed for the lady's house, not far from my home. Upon arriving, she came out of her house with that little brown dog with the black face, and too small red collar on a leash. I told her that was the one I was looking for, so she took the leash off the dog, and it sat down.

I walked to my car door, with the dog following me. He sat down until I opened the door, and stood aside, he then got in the car, went to the passenger seat, and sat facing forward. He stayed there until I got home, got out of the car, and stepped aside. Only then did he stand, walk to my door, got out, and sat, until I shut the car door. I walked to my house, with the dog walking beside me, got to my front door, where the dog, again sat down. My wife had heard me pull up in the driveway, and came to the front door, looked at me, and then looked down at the little brown dog with the black face, and the too small red collar, and her eyes got big, and glassy.
I had just watched her fall for him, and we had just been adopted by him.

Anyway, the puppy, who was about one year old at the time, eventually named Sam, became an integral part of our family, and our whole neighborhood. He was well loved by everybody that ever met him, family, friends, neighbors, and strangers all accepted Sam as their friend. For the last thirteen, or so years Sam has lived with us, loved us, been loved by us, been my friend, confidant, and protector.

I also did away with the too tight red collar, and he received a new tan one that fit him.
His black face eventually turned white with age.

Nobody, including his veterinarians, could ever tell me what breed, or combination of breeds he may be, so he just became "a brown dog" whenever anybody asked.

He has gone through good times and bad times, the losses of Sally (his sister), and our oldest son (his brother).
He has watched our younger son (his other brother) go off to war, and start a family of his own.
Sam has been by my side all this time, never wanting anything more than to be with his family. He would follow me anywhere, and wait for me to finish whatever I had to do, and want to go with me to wherever I was going next.

When I stood, he would stand. When I sat, he, too would sit.

A month and a half ago, Sam lost the use of his legs, and eventually the use of his back muscles, too. His vet said that we could try this, and that, which, of course we have. My wife and I have been carrying him outside to use the bathroom, carrying him back in, cleaning him up, and sometimes having to spoon feed him when he was unable to eat for himself.

I may be a little slow, but I've been holding out hope that Sam would get up and meet me at the door, as always, when I return home, but it just hasn't happened.
Yesterday I had to make one the hardest decisions of my life, when my wife and I took Sam for his last ride to the vet.
I took him out of my truck, laid him in the grass, and we sat talking with him until they had an open exam room inside...
Sam had a good, safe life with us. Sam went peacefully a little past six o'clock last night.
I am sad. My wife is also sad. His brother is sad, too.
Anyway, I want to thank you for not wanting that little brown dog with the black face, and the too tight red collar.
Thank you for giving me, and us the opportunity to share our lives with Sam.
Everyone Sam has met for the last thirteen years has been blessed to have met Sam, and to have been part of his life, and to have had him as a part of theirs.
Sam has been a great joy to be around. Everybody has always remarked about how polite he is (has been).
He has helped me to be the man I am today.
We have done everything possible to postpone the day that Sam would no longer be with us.
Well, now is that time, and I am struggling to adjust.
I have had people tell me to "Just get a new dog", and I will, but there will be no replacing my friend Sam.

He was ONE OF A KIND.

He is throwing out the Constitution in an effort to have maximum control over our financial institutions(Lord knows they do need to be better controlled, but not by the government in the fashion the pimp wants), isn't that why we already have the banking oversight committee? But I gotta get back to erkel the pimp, can't afford to get side tracked; this clown has done more to incapacitate the economy than anyone ever could and in less time than many thought it would take....the CBO has figures that show a major increase in our economic defecate, er deficit, the Republicans have another set of figures and the pimp his own set, incredible! I'm missing Johnny Carson from the old TV show...Who do you Trust? The Republicans spent way too much the past 8 years, but that pales in comparison with the pimp's budget in just under 70 days! I guess I'll go along with the CBO, I still remember doing fractions in school and having to choose a common denominator and of the 3, I'll go with the CBO thank you. Of the 3, none show much promise but we, as a people, can voice ourselves and be heard...enough is enough but this is way too much....stop spending and stop now. Insinuating that health care is the major driver in our economic woes is a ridiculous statement pimp, absolutely ridiculous....we spend way too much now with Medicare and Medicaid...making both available to a lot of immigrants, legal and illegal...the legals get SS and Medicare even though they didn't contribute into the Social Security Fund....can someone please, tell me why? Another of the pimp's pets is spending more on education....I have a couple points on this to address, maybe more; for one thing, the school system in place would work a lot better if their administrators had more power to enforce discipline! The kids that go to school to get a good education are cheated from it by the hooligans that disrupt classes, the ones who aren't capable of speaking english properly and insist on bi-lingual classes. Give me a break, let them learn english in remedial classes and if they end up a year or two behind their peers....so what? When I went to school, kids 'flunked' and were held back....this was not a good thing; one, you were made fun of by the other students, big deal...it made you try harder....and two; your parents would tattoo you....send you to summer school and/or ground you for the summer....but oh, now parents don't 'parent' anymore, either because of Dr. Spock or because they will be held as child abusers...one more time...give me a break! So tell me pimp, why did you end the DC scholarship program? Why don't you look into the states that adopted a lottery on the pretense of sending money to the schools? And the lottery brags about how much they've given schools, their operating budget is probably higher than that amount. I pass a lot of elementary, middle and high schools daily when I drive my son to school....all the schools are new, well maintained but all, have a sign out front urging citizens to contact legislators to help with more money....like I'd be a 'bad guy' if I didn't do it, don't try laying' a guilt trip on the Ol P5 Driver pimp, I am not buying into it.

So now I have to finish this and wait for a day or two so the pimp can go over it and then, after he's loaded his answers/explanations into his tele-prompter, he can get back to me or go back on Jay Leno and tell the Americans what the deal really is; and I haven't even called him out on hamass or iran yet....whoa Nellie!

Titanic and our Ship of State

When I look out and around and see the direction our Nation is heading, I'm reminded of the Titanic....the unsinkable Titanic....that went to the bottom in just around three hours. What made the ship builders believe Titanic was unsinkable? A series of water tight doors, now you're asking what does Titanic and the USA have in common....first of all, both are and were sinkable!

Imagine if you will, the water entering Titanic as the outrageous spending, Constitutional abuses going on as the water gushing into Titanic; the water went above the water tight doors, sealing Titanic's doom in the same fashion as the pimp in Washington D.C. is doing with all the reckless spending and entitlement programs that he's farming out to lady macbeth and harry Gollum reid to draft into bills, then force votes from Congress and the Senate without even reading the damn things! Like deaf, dumb and blind lemmings, they pass these bills and the pimp signs them into law! Now, the house passes a bill demanding that bonuses(that were know about as far back as 08 November 08) be paid back and if kept, taxed at 90%. We have wolves in the henhouse...geithner lied, dodd lied, the pimp lied and we are going down like Titanic. If the 90% tax bill goes all the way to the pimp's desk for signature, we may as well just flat out burn the Constitution.....enough! I say enough, we need to rise up as a nation and demand our voices are heard....these political hacks running the show are paid a salary by us, the tax payer they work for us but aren't fulfilling their oath to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign or domestic!

I've been hearing about pitch forks, sending tea bags to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave that will ultimately be ignored by those in power, they are refusing to deliver the tea bags because they say the envelopes contain a controlled substance....buffalo chips! They are slapping us in the face and we let them; and in the midst of all the economic tribulations...the pimp sends an I'm sorry video to Iran! What a wuss...Iran then tells us in answer, that WE, have to straighten up.

; more buffalo chis...they are the ones making ready to blow Israel off the map, they are the ones sponsoring terror groups, sending arms into Iraq and Afghanistan to kill Americans...along with training more foreign fighters. Y'all remember when that jerk president of Iran led the take-over of our Embassy in Tehran? Now he has the nerve(thanks jimmy carter)to tell us what the rules are. Taking our embassy was an act of war and nothing was done but botch a mission because the Military and intelligence community had been decimated by Billy Beer's brother, jimmy.

As a country and nation we need to wake the hell up and demand our employees, work for us instead of going on Jay Leno's show and make tasteless jokes...the pimp sits and smiles....why? Because he knows, he has his and we are about to get the shaft. There are so many things to write here but it won't happen tonite; I'm so fed up with the callousness of the politicos in power that I'm unable to put all my thoughts together....like Michael Corleone in GF III, every time I start to feel better....the pimp brings it all back....why is he still in office? In the situation the United States finds itself after November's election, James Madison's words are prophetic; our congress is running amok and the senate isn't too far behind. Our elected president possesses no governing experience or skills so he has basically turned the office of president over to the witch of San Fransisco, nancy 'of the jet set'(I think she resembles a jack-in-the-box more)pelosi....even dumbo joe biden was getting irritated by the way the witch kept jumping up as mr. obama gave his quasi 'state of the union' address, it seemed to me that the witch was actually applauding her own words! You see, I believe obama has never had an original thought in his life and appears to have turned over to harry 'Gollum' reid and the witch pelosi, the power to govern in his stead...think about that for a minute, in just 50 days obama has sucked us, as a nation, into a deeper recession(1997 value at 2009 prices), signed an order to close GITMO(where will all the bad guys go?), and deceived the country into thinking he's putting us on a road to recovery(stimulus bills, record setting budget proposals), all in the guise of 'change'. He did promise change campaigning and has in fact, delivered on that promise....but 'change we need', 'change we can believe in' and 'hope' are starting to unravel. Almost every economist has stated publicly that obama has done everything economically wrong but still want to and will, support him, that's the same as renouncing the Devil but welcoming him into your home and life! Anyone who dares to criticize obama or his policies gets a stabbing that would be the envy of every street gang this country has seen. Under this administration, private citizens are being targeted, this is absolutely intolerable! Freedom of speech is being squashed by intimidation tactics; xlinton's started this crap using IRS audits against those on their 'enemy list', this is America people....these rights have been bought, paid for and defended with the blood of patriotic Americans! 51% of democratz wanted G. W. Bush's policies to fail, they wanted...even stated, that the Iraq theatre of war was lost! Now we have a president taking us down the road to socialism....does anyone but me see that? We fought the Cold War from 1945 till the USSR was dismantled and beaten and then turn around and elect the same type people who we fought all those years against!

The president is a master at double talk and buffalo-chips, while the nations economy tumbles uncontrollably downward, he shifts focus on piddly things...merit pay for teachers(actually it's not based on the 'merits' of the teacher, it's based on how much education, the teacher has), embryonic stem cell research.....I gotta find out just where these stem cells come from.....which will, in my humble opinion, only lead to a way devious people can make a quick buck at the expense of an aborted human life. Our borders are as porous as cheesecloth and obama appoints as Homeland Security Secretary, a woman who hasn't done anything as the governor of her state to stem the flow of illegals; drug cartels are conducting an open war against the Mexican government and it's spilling over the border into the U.S., what exactly is being done? And this president wants to close GIMO?

We have a guy assigned the task of Secretary of the Treasury that was guilty of not paying his own taxes! Now he's coming out saying how he's going to make sure what he did will not be tolerated....it never was, has he paid the back taxes along with the penalties and accrued interest? How about charlie rangel, chairman of the House Ways and Means committee....has he anted up? How about tom daschle and the rest of the cabinet crooks? Secretary of State is totally out of her level and bumbling everything she does overseas, what a travesty.

These are just some of the examples of obama's 'chickens coming home to roost', political favors owed for political donations and support for this pimp to get elected....yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus and yes America, corruption has reached the highest level in our government than ever before. Please Mr. obama, tell us all once again how you are bringing 'change' to America's political scene; I seem to remember during the campaign that there would be no new taxes and 95% of Americans would receive a tax break....did I take your campaign pledge out of context or were you just 'campaigning'(in other words, lying)?

Your 'stimulus bill' smells like pork chops but you say there are no earmarks or 'pork' in that little gem; re-paving airport runways, making sidewalks, teaching birth control....if I were to name all the pork(read, pay back all the favors rendered for getting your dumba** elected), I'd be typing here till doomsday or till my fingers were wore plum down to the nubs.

Now you start talking 'fiscal responsibility'....are you on the same planet as the rest of us? A tax levied on mileage by way of a GPS system installed in our cars....are you insane? What else will these beauties be monitoring? When I worked for the USPS, we had scanners that we had to scan bar codes at certain locations...had nothing to do with customer service, it was all about tracking us and checking to ensure that we weren't sitting under a shade tree taking a nap...but that's another story. You aren't going to make permanent the tax cuts Geo. W. Bush instated, when that expires what will happen then is a TAX HIKE dumba**! And if I'm not mistaken, there will be way more to contend with tax wise as far as you and your cohorts are concerned.

Top of this column is mentioned the way to 'enslave' a nation or the people....let me remind you Mr. obama, any infringement on our 2nd amendment rights is a violation....that includes forced insurance, imposing excessive taxes on gun purchases and shooting supplies. As a matter of fact, your policies so far are very reminiscent of national socialist party policies in 1930's Germany. How's that grab ya? Ol Adolph always said, if you're gonna lie, make it a big one...they'll fall for it better that way, have you been reading Mein Kampf? Thinking of adding any amendments to it?

I recently visited the site where little Caylee Anthony's remains were discovered, found 2 Eagles nesting in the area and felt that they were sentinels that had been there the whole time watching over little Caylee...it did offer some comfort and I learned that Eagles are a Spirit Guide. These Eagles were nesting not more than 10 yards from where Caylee was found, normally when the amount of commotion that the discovery of Caylee caused, these fine birds of prey would have found a more solitude place to inhabit, yet they remain still....Angels from the Lord Jesus? That would be my guess.

These 3 crosses mark the place where Caylee was found, the area under normal conditions would be under water but since we've been under drought conditions since the summer storms, all the water has dried up. A privacy fence is no more than 15 yards to the right of these crosses, marking the back property line of a residence....how near to people yet so far and un-discovered. How is it possible that a neighborhood dog did not pick up the scent of little Caylee? In the below picture you'll see just how close to the street (Suburban Drive) ..maybe 6 or 7 yards, little Caylee rested so uncomfortably....I am incapable of understanding how a mother could take the life of her own Daughter, let alone leaving her in such a place as this. How is it that our nation has suffered such moral decay that the life of a little girl or boy, such as Caylee can be just tossed aside so the mother or parents can enjoy their lives without caring for the life they brought into this world? Where do we turn to find the means to correct such defects other than Our Lord, Jesus Christ?

This memorial to little Caylee grows each day, residents and visitors from all over come by regularly to leave a little something for Caylee....she deserved better, may the Angels and Eagles forever watch over her.

It does gall me to no end that while Caylee lay out in the elements, crawled over by all kinds of animals, insects and whatever other creatures, her mother had shelter, food, clothing and comfort...even though it was in jail...she wasn't treated as she had treated her own Daughter...with grave indifference. I certainly hope that whatever Judge and Jury deliberate this crime keep those thoughts in mind while trying to untangle the web of deceit and indifference the mother's defense puts forth....may Justice be served and may Caylee find peace and happiness at last with Our Lord God Almighty.

Curiosity...now that word in itself can spur mankind on to great things; it can also lead mankind down a trail best left untrod upon. The mania created by the candidacy of barack obama for president was of a nature I have never witnessed, the promise of 'change' so far has been the only thing that I see was a mislead or more factually, a lie....there has been no change in the way politics are run in D.C., more 'cronyism' than I can think of, less transparency than has ever been and the assembled cabinet is one of the most corrupt and self-interest serving bunch that has ever been assembled.

For instance: have you ever been ticketed by an officer of the law for an infraction that he himself was guilty of while ticketing you? I don't mean speeding....although I've been passed by quite a few that were traveling well beyond the limit...but say, a burned out head or tail light? Small thing you say but you put enough of the 'small things' together and you have a big thing, you have those enforcing the laws thinking they are above it....our new treasury secretary, the man in charge of the IRS is guilty of not paying his own taxes and only attempted to pay what might satisfy the vetting process so he could take his seat at the cabinet level....his name escapes me at the moment but y'all know who I'm talkin' about. Then cometh tom daschle, his conveniently leaving out over $100,000 of unpaid taxes and looking to be confirmed as what, commerce secretary? The guy in charge of the ways and means committee, charley rangel owes over $75,000 in taxes but there's no out cry for him to step down from being the committee chairman....I guess he's above the law like daschle and the other guy. Now a few words about our new secretary of state, hillary rodham clinton who's hubby...you know, slick willie of cigar smoking fame...receiving contributions from foreign countries that his wifey will be dealing with as sec. of state....that's encouraging isn't it? What happens when she has to get tough with a country that has contributed beaucoup money to hubby? Will she keep the best interests of America in mind or worry about maybe owing a 'debt of gratitude' to that particular country for it's financial generosity to hubby?

obama has sworn to protect and uphold our Constitution, I sincerely hope he does but there are nagging questions in my mind...too cynical or skeptical you think?, maybe but it's hard for me to understand, let alone accept a politician from Chicago, an unknown one at that, to rise so high, so fast without owing someone or group of 'someones' a few favors. Mr. obama, will you be a guardian of the Constitution or a destroyer of it? Our founding fathers were adamant about the role of the Federal Government and the role of State's Government...making States fall subject to the Fed in so many different instances creates animosity, same as trampling the People's rights, clearly defined by our Bill of Rights. To turn your back on either will only kill both, destroy our country/republic and lead us down the path to socialism/communism....barry, just do the right thing because it's right.

In these days, especially in the past three and a half months, the words of Thomas Jefferson above should have more significance than what is being practiced in our federal government. The original stewards of the lands comprising our Nation, did a much better job of management...our own Native Americans...I prefer to call them the Indians because that's what they are and were before the days of the idiocy of political correctness. They managed the land with respect, they paid their debts in full at the time they were incurred; respect and responsibility were their watchwords.

For the sake of expanding the original colonies, the Indians were hoodwinked by the government at that time and forever more taken advantage of at every turn throughout the 'settling' of the west. If the way the Indian reservations of today are managed is any indication of how the corrupt elected officials in D.C. will manage our tax dollars...we, as a Nation, a Country and People are in very sad condition with an extremely bleak future outlook. A Passage Thru Time

To continue with my trip around the famous or infamous battlegrounds of The Great War, after touring Ft. Douamont, we trekked in a circle east of the city of Verdun; various monuments and trenchworks were everywhere to be seen. One amazing story I have mentioned earlier was the one about the 'Bayonet Trench'; it's a fascinating story to say the least. At one point in the battle for Verdun German shellfire was so intense, so concentrated that it buried French soldiers alive in their trenches. Pictured above is the entry way into one of these trenches, it had to be barb-wired off because of souvenir hunters taking the bayonets off the buried rifles...some of the rifle barrels are still visible; a very sobering sight to say the least. The area around the trench is beautiful and serene even as the horror is heard from the buried soldiers voices; truly a stark contrast and a testament to the brave Souls that perished there.

This is a view of the trench itself, if one would start to excavate around just about anywhere, they would unearth rifles, helmets and bones...this would be tantamount to desecrating a grave and is highly discouraged. Given the danger of unexploded ordinance all around the Memorial, it's not really safe to wander off into the lush wood surrounding the trench; try as hard as I could, I couldn't get a picture in my mind of how devastated the surrounding area had been during the battle. Although the A.E.F. did not take part in the battle of Verdun, I felt a deep pride, knowing my Countrymen had taken part in defending the freedom of the French and helping by doing their part in the preservation of the world as it was to become. It's just too bad that a more fair treaty at Versailles had not been attained....but then, is it possible that it wouldn't have mattered anyway and things would still have played out as they did? A good thought to ponder.

Here is a monument preserving the site of a village that had been targeted many times by the Germans and French as they fought back and forth for the ground, all the inhabitants that didn't flee were killed; a dramatic waste of human life, a whole generation of the worlds fine men were cast into battle like so much firewood into a fire...how many scientists, scholars, authors, doctors, artists, poets and other writers were lost, not to forget fathers and mothers, sons and daughters. A terrible waste of life but it was all for something that we all cherish....Freedom! If you die a free man or woman, it only matters that you've died free and fighting for what you believe in or, just a free man or woman passing after a full, free life. How many would exchange that for life under the rule of a dictator?

Montafucon, Fleurry and others that I didn't get to visit, it's all surreal as you drive on the road and read the sign saying you are now entering Fleurry or Montafucon and then the sign saying you're leaving that village...with nothing but a monument in between; very somber feeling that is.

Next time will be the west side of Verdun along with some of the Meuse/Argonne offensive.

Colonel John Walker Ripley....USMC Retired

The family and friends of Col. John Walker Ripley said their final goodbyes during a moving funeral ceremony on November 7, 2008 at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He was laid to rest with full military honors in a ceremony that left most attendees either teary eyed or speechless. Among the honorary pall bearers was Lt. Col. Le Ba Binh who fought with Col. Ripley in Vietnam and actually witnessed the destruction of the Dong Ha bridge; the 30th Commandant of the Marine Corps, General Carl E. Mundy; Lt. Gen. Sir Henry Beverly of the British Royal Marines, a long time friend of the deceased; and Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Col. Wesley Fox.

As the polished black hearse carrying the body of Col. Ripley approached the steps of the main chapel two Marine infantry platoons in dress blue uniforms with rifles and fixed bayonets snapped to attention. The seriousness of their demeanor was a clear indicator that they were just as capable of fighting a battle as they were of paying tribute to a war hero. Moments later, six more Marines, looking like they were carved out of marble, approached the hearse in a slow cadence and solemnly removed the casket. They then carried it up several flights of steps and gently placed it on the bier in the back of the chapel. “Out of the Depths I Cry to Thee” The afternoon sun filtering through the stained glass windows illuminated the incense that wafted through the air, creating a blue haze that seemed to hover over the top of the flag-draped coffin. All of this created an ethereal ambiance that was truly unique. The people I met on the previous night at the wake made up part of the crowd who packed the chapel to say farewell. As I entered that blue haze, I saw a sea of 2500 mourners, many of whom were forced to stand for the entire mass. Row after row of academy cadets, dressed in formal attire filled the balconies above, while military officers, adorned with medals of gold and silver, sat in the pews below. As the coffin was brought forward, the Naval Academy choir intoned the mournful and soul stirring lines of the De Profundis; “Out of the depths I cry unto thee, O Lord.” The plaintive chant was originally composed as an appeal on the part of the disincarnate soul pleading for mercy before the throne of God. On this day, it produced an atmosphere of added grandeur considering the stature of the man whose funeral mass we were now witnessing.

Funeral Eulogies In his homily, Fr. Peter McGeory chose to bypass the stories of “Col. Ripley at the bridge.” He preferred to focus his words instead on the personal and religious side of the man. Col. Ripley was a soldier who went to mass on a daily basis when he was in town and did so with humility. “He was living proof that serving both God and country can be done with equal fidelity,” he said. His faithfulness to his wife Moline, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, was equally intense. Moline was an archetypal Southern lady who had been reduced to a wheel chair because of her illness. Father McGeory told of witnessing Col. Ripley at an Academy event one day kneeling on one knee next to his wife’s chair, gently speaking to Moline as he spoon fed her. Seeing his wife reduced to such a state caused Col. Ripley more suffering and required more strength of will than his superhuman efforts in the destruction of the Dong Ha Bridge. It would be one of the last bitter gulps from his chalice of suffering.

Captain Tom Ripley gave an equally stirring eulogy of his father after mass and also touched on his father’s religious side. He surprised the audience by telling them the proper way to use a kneeler during mass. You should not let your bottom touch the seat. “If you are going to sit, sit” he quoted his father saying. “If you are going to kneel, kneel, but don’t do both.” He then outlined some of the essential qualities of a Marine Corps leader. He must have the spirit of the attack, boldness and a receptiveness for risk taking. “If you are not comfortable operating with risk,” Col. Ripley would say, “then you need to get into a new line of work.” Academy cadets leaned with elbows against the pew in front of them soaking in every word as Captain Ripley finished with an anecdote that illustrated the loyalty of his father. In 1985, Col. Ripley lost a good friend when the commandant of the Naval Academy, Leslie Palmer died. When Col. Ripley went to pay his final respects to his friend, he was shocked to find there was no honor guard. He remedied the situation with a sacrifice that was as noble as it was arduous.“As the Senior Marine at the Naval Academy,” Capt. Ripley said, “our father stood at parade rest by Capt. Palmer’s body for ten hours. It was only after our mother called another Marine to replace him that our father would leave his friend's side.”

A Legendary Marine The Commandant of the Marine Corps, General James Conway began his eulogy with a reference to the long history of the Marine Corps and legends such as Joe Foss and Chesty Puller. "We read about their stories," he said, "but we did not have the chance to know them." “We were honored to know an authentic Marine Corps legend,” he said, “John Walker Ripley.” General Conway knew him for over 30 years and defined Col. Ripley as “a commander, a mentor, a friend” and “a consummate Southern gentleman.” A man who never got angry and the closest he ever came to using a bad word was “dog-gonnit.”“John was direct,” he said, “and you didn’t need to ask him something if you couldn’t stand the answer.” A good example of this was the heroic and politically incorrect testimony Col. Ripley gave against women in the military in June of 1992. Regarding women in combat, the Commandant quoted Col. Ripley as saying: “There are sheep and there are wolves and the wolves always win. So in the end political correctness has no place on the battlefield. There are generations of young Marine officers out there today, defending this country with that thought process in mind.” After the Commandant finished his comments, the choir intoned the Marine Corps hymn. The audience joined in and the words of this song never seemed so meaningful, since they seemed to define Col. Ripley so well. “We fight our country's battles…for freedom…and to keep our honor clean.”

Sublime Symbolism...At the conclusion of the funeral mass, the 2500 mourners followed behind the coffin as the body of Col. Ripley made one last trip across the academy grounds to the cemetery a mile away. The Marine Corps band, playing a drum beat, and two infantry platoons led the way followed by the hearse, the immediate family and friends.

As the coffin was put into place over its final resting place, the sorrowful crowd looked over their shoulders at what sounded like a plane taking off from a nearby airport. As the sound grew louder, four AV-B Harriers in a missing man formation flew directly over the flagged-draped-coffin. While the audience experienced a prideful chill, Captain Ripley choked back tears of gratitude for the enormous tribute on behalf of the United States Marines. He was unaware that his father would receive such an honor and explained for me the deeper meaning behind the gesture. Col. Ripley’s older brother Mike was a fighter pilot who flew three, thirteen-month missions in Vietnam and was considered by many to be the most tested pilot of the time. When he returned to the United States in 1971 he was asked by the Marine Corps to test fly the Harrier and was killed on one of the first runs when his plane crashed into the Chesapeake Bay. He left such a mark on the Marine Corps however that the top marine test pilot in the United States every year is presented the Mike Ripley Award in honor of him. It was one of the many symbolically beautiful gestures witnessed during the day: one Ripley hero honoring another. As the band played the Marine Corps hymn off in the distance, there was another symbolic gesture. In every other branch of the armed forces there are eight body bearers, who carry the coffin of the deceased. The Marines pride themselve in using only six. Unlike the others branches who carry the coffin at waist level, Marines carry their dead at chest level. After the fly over of the Harriers, we witnessed one more thing that makes a Marine burial unique. In a display of extraordinary strength, the six Marine Body Bearers raised the coffin of Col. Ripley to chin level as a symbol of the final respects being paid to a fellow Marine.

After lowering the coffin, the body bearers slowly grasped the American flag and pulled it taut over the top of the coffin while Father McGeory said the final prayers for the soul of Col. Ripley and sprinkled the coffin with Holy Water. The grave-like silence which had descended upon the audience was briefly interrupted by the traditional 21-gun salute. The three volleys, during wartime, were a sign that the casualties were taken care of and the fighting could resume. The painfully sad conclusion to the burial was the moment when the six Marines ceremoniously folded the American flag and presented it to Col. Ripley’s only daughter Mary: yet another symbolic gesture of thanks on behalf of a grateful nation.

Final Farewell..... At the conclusion of the ceremony, everyone was invited to a reception yet few wanted to leave. Many chose to remain close to the polished cherrywood coffin. A number of soldiers took the opportunity to give a final salute. Some kissed the eagle embedded in the top while others exhibited an almost inconsolable emotion. Col. Binh approached the bier and placed both hands on the coffin, as if seeking one final support from the man who fought so hard for his people. Overcome by grief, he mechanically fell to his knees, embraced the casket and wept profusely. I later had the chance to speak to Col. Binh. “You are no doubt moved by the remembrance of what Col. Ripley did for your country,” I asked. Being a man of few words, he simply nodded his head in mournful recognition as his eyes welled up with tears.

Before leaving the burial, I recognized a Marine who had been at the wake the night before as I sat alone in the chapel praying for the soul of Col. Ripley. I never tire of seeing the way American soldiers do the smallest things in the grandest way. This Marine entered that night, drew near the casket, removed his hat and bowed his head in prayer. He then replaced his hat squarely on his head, stood bolt upright and executed a solemn salute. After an about face, he departed the room in a decisive military fashion. Col. Ripley would have been proud of him.We spoke for a moment beside the grave and he seemed to have a need to share his feelings about the man to whom we were now saying our final goodbye. His demeanor was strikingly humble yet his upright posture and the glow of admiration in his eyes seemed to indicate a firm determination to follow in the footsteps of this great man. He was not alone. I saw the exact same look on the face of Naval Academy students who attentively followed every eulogy given for a man who is truly an American legend. While we all mourn the passing of such a legend we are consoled by the thought that his example will inspire generations to come.

If any of this comes to pass then you'll understand where the Title of today's blog originated; as it stands now, the liberal left has the White House, The House and Senate....it will not take long to overtake the Supreme Court and then we'll be in over our heads. You see, only in a free, democratic, open society can this happen...in order for this to happen in most foreign countries they use a coup...either military or a radical group aided by para-military groups (black panthers come to mind along with the nation of islam), nation of islam you ask? Have you seen the bodyguards that surround farrakhan? Don't ever think that's just a handful, there are way more than the eye can see.

If our President-elect holds true to his ideas of mass spending, we'll be bankrupt in a very short time, countries who've invested in the USA T-Bills will call them in along with whatever other debt we owe....the 'Wimpy Syndrome' of "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday, for a hamburger today" will not satisfy them and....boom, USA, belly up without a shot being fired. Corruption, like the evil cancer, has to be diagnosed early and cut out; maybe term limits in the House and Senate could be a step in the right direction, the 'cancer' of class warfare could be cut out by putting in a flat tax that would be fairer to all citizens. Universal health care is not a solution, it only adds to the financial problem, forcing businesses, large and small, to provide health care for all employees will force them out of business...then what happens to jobs and the influx of revenue from income taxes? Yep, it dries up, the un-employment lines grow and the 'soup de jour' will be weed, coffee will be brewed from tree bark until the environmentalists go bobby-bat-s**t.

All is not doom and gloom....remember that if we can catch this early enough it can and will be avoided...once again I'd admonish y'all to.....

My thoughts and prayers are with so many today. I'm reminded of my hometown in New Mexico where an entire city block of the Civic Center is filled with row upon row of American Flags. A veritable Old Glory Forest. VFW members and the VFW Auxiliary see to this on every National day of special observance. Memorial Day, July Fourth, Veterans Day. Veterans of all wars will attend today...many in wheelchairs because their gallantry occurred many years ago and age has taken its toll. Some will be in wheelchairs or on crutches because their bravery was tested at the cost of arms and legs. But all wearing their campaign ribbons and service medals. Their faces will be somber, their eyes reflecting men and women who have seen too much horror, endured too much pain. Most of all, they'll carry mantles of dignity and pride because they gave their all when their country needed them most. Today, they sit or stand in quiet humility, but their hearts swell with pride in their service and love of their country. This scene will be repeated across our land today. And many, many of us will feel gratitude that America produced such valiant men and women. We will offer up prayerful hope that these heroes did not sacrifice in vain. We pray that, when needed, America can still find dedicated warriors to serve a just cause.

In the town where I now live, Nature is bombarding us with cold rain and wind. But the town's Veterans' Day Parade will go on. People will line the streets, wrapped in parkas and raincoats, waving American Flags.

Because we care. Thank God, Americans still care.

On this day, I pause to remember all that have served and are still serving....on this day as well as Memorial Day and The 4th of July, I also hold a special place in mind and heart for those who served but no longer walk among us....be it from giving their all in defense of our great Nation or because age has claimed so many more.

Also on this Day, I remember being able to fulfill a lifelong dream of going to exactly where a lot of the battles leading up to Armistice Day took place; Verdun, Belleau Wood, Chateau Thierry....I spent a night in Verdun, just outside City Center, another night in Chateau Theirry overlooking the River Marne; I walked along the River Saar which was in Germany at the time of The Great War. Walking the streets of Verdun the remnants of shellfire was still evident on many buildings....makes one wonder how survival was possible for any human being, let alone the gallant fighting men of the allies and Germany. All the Memorials, cemeteries and still visible trench works are a testimonial to all the fighting men who valued Freedom over tyranny.

As I climbed the tower in the Ossiuary by Verdun, with all the bones inside the 'basement' of that huge, impressive Memorial....I could almost hear the voices of the fallen lying all together, friend and foe alike...intermingled for eternity....cry out to do anything and everything possible so that the carnage not be repeated. I heard the same voices calling out at the 'Bayonet Trench' where so many French soldiers were buried alive, still with rifles in hand, by horrendous shellfire. The voices that called out from Fort Douamont and Fort Vaux, strong points defending Verdun carried the same message. Does anyone hear these voices? Does anyone care what these men went through for over 4 years other than real Patriots and Veterans? It seems that, no, no one listens...there will always be someone with a grudge...real or perceived...willing to sacrifice men's lives to gain what? Nothing.

I guess the point of all this is, we cannot allow any force...foreign or domestic...to infringe our freedoms; there will, thank God, always be men and women who are willing to insure that the many will be protected...sadly, by the Few. After all the years that have passed since 11Nov18, our world has endured another World War, the Vietnam War that ravaged that Nation from '45 to '75, the war in Korea, that is still not ended...only a cease-fire exists; will it resume again? Quite possibly given the circumstances of our Nation at this time. The ongoing war to defend our Freedoms and way of life here and now in America....I'm reminded of the line from the movie "A Few Good Men".....upon being charged with complicity in the death of two Marines, Colonel Jessup told the defense attorney..."all you've done here is weaken a Nation". Right or wrong is not the point....sacrifices always have to be made to ensure Freedoms; the USA, as a whole, know nothing of these sacrifices...only the Veterans who have seen 'The Dragon', felt the earth tremble from 'The Elephant' and said goodbye to close friends and Warriors after a firefight.

This has been kicking around in one form or another for quite some time, I for one, am not a conspiracy theorist but this does beckon some question and investigation. If proven true, the ramifications would be incredulous. Bob Dylan said it in his song, "The times they are a changing", it's now compulsory at least here in Florida, to show a birth certificate for drivers license renewal...why then is it not part of the paperwork process to get vetted to run for President of the one true, leading Nation in the Free World? How simple can it be to quell the rumors and innuendo surrounding this issue to just show the vault copy of a birth certificate; unless there is something to hide. One candidate offered 'transparency' in government, the other produced 'transparency'...you decide which did what.

What have we reduced ourselves to with this video? Are we showing a 'united front' or just showing how far our Nation has degenerated? This is the kind of stuff that went on when Castro took over Cuba, when the Nazi's burned books and celebrated 'Krystal Night' prior to WWII and at the beginning of the Holocaust. Behaviour like this is common place in third world country's, not in the United States of America...at least not up till now. This is not what my generation's Fathers fought WWII for, nor why the Korean and Vietnam Wars were fought.

Why was the lone McCain/Palin supporter arrested? Because he had a toy sword stuck in the back of his shirt? Or was this a harbinger of what's to come of our freedom of speech and assembly? Makes me wonder what damage that raucous crowd did in 'celebration' of obama's victory, did the overturn cars, set fires and other vandalous acts? In my humble opinion, all that was accomplished in Philadelphia was the world got a real good look at how far we, as a Nation, have degenerated....what do you suppose they think of us now? These acts only steeled al-qaeda's and people who hate us to continue to destroy our Nation and it's way of life....our forefathers and our very own fathers did not fight for our freedoms to be thrown out the window like this; 7Dec41 may live as a date in infamy but 4Nov08 will live as a date the USA will regret for whatever time it has left.

The above image came to me from a Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant, by way of a VietNam FMF Corpsman; I believe it typifies the feeling of the general populace, I for one said basically the same thing....at 2300 on 04 Nov, the USA as we've known it has died, calling hours will begin on 20 January '09 and run for the next four years. This does not mean my support for the office of the Presidency will stop, it does not mean that I will in any way subvert the duly elected administration; it simply means that the USA I grew up in, fought to defend the principles of are no longer in place. It started to die when prayer was removed from our schools and replaced with condoms, abortion and the unraveling of any semblance of moral fabric. It died with rampant pornography, it died when more people vote during Survivor and American Idol than vote for our leaders. Sure, you may say they're all liars but is there no deceit in Survivor or American Idol? American Idol is called entertainment....Survivor is called reality, neither are what they claim. Idol belittles people, people who think they have a special talent while the 'judging panel' thinks they are clowns to be ridiculed, Survivor is an even bigger joke...it fosters class warfare as it's only a popularity contest. If we are to survive as a Nation and regain the respect we enjoyed after WWI and II, there are a few things that need addressed and adhered to, for example:

The Word strictly states, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God....." Yet have we sought HIS kingdom or have we sought OUR kingdom - the United States? Have we sought His ways or have we sought our wants? Let's compare.

If we were seeking the Kingdom of God - we would search for a leader who was a man after God's own heart, (such as David in the Bible). Did we search for this man? Were the Christians concerned about where he stood compared to God's Word or were we more concerned of his ethnicity? Were we more concerned with the economy or were we concerned about what the Lord was trying to show us?

The vote as I see it was about 'wants' not 'needs'....just because obama is black, it became a historical vote, well, to have elected John McCain and Sarah Palin would have been just as 'historical' as Sarah Palin would have been the first woman to be elected VP. Of the two tickets, which one really was based in/on a Christian belief? If you think obama, I refer you to the reverend jeremiah wright and his God D**n America rantings, obama was married by this person, his daughters baptized by him(his youngest was baptized after 9/11 when the God D**N America statement was made!)

Looney loouie farrakhan calls obama the Messiah, hard to take that one, he's more an opportunist than a Messiah. Ask yourself, where'd he come from so fast? No, he's no Messiah.

Many Christians voted for Obama based on the color of his skin and not on his moral standings. Many voted for him in hopes to turn our economy around instead of turning to the Lord by falling on their knees and repenting. "If my people who are called by My Name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14

Obama cannot heal our land - no president can. How can we as Christians vote for a man who agrees with homosexuality and the murder of innocent babies during the birth process? How can we as Christians vote for a man who blatantly denies God's Word? How can Christians vote this way without it bothering their conscience? How can we justify our vote? Will our excuses for voting for a man who blatantly comes against the Laws of God be good enough for God to accept?

This is easy to explain - the line has been drawn. The line has been drawn between the sheep and the goats. The line has been drawn between to those 'claiming' to be Christians and 'the remnant few' who really are Christians.

Let's compare the difference between a sheep and a goat.

Sheep are mild mannered, they follow the shepherd and are led easily. Goats are known to be destructive and mischievous. Now goats and sheep are considered to be in the same family, however, notice the character differences. Goats go for what pleases them, sheep go for what pleases the shepherd.

So which one are you? Are you a sheep or goat? Can't tell? Well, I can tell you. If you voted for righteousness, you are a sheep. If your vote was based on the color of someone skin or for the economy, you are a goat. What will the Lord say to you when you meet him face to face? Will He note that you stood for righteousness? Will He say, "Well, done thou good and faithful servant"? (His sheep will hear this)

Or will you approach Him and say, "but Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name? Did we not drive out demons in your name? Did we not do mighty deeds in your name?" Then I will declare to them solemnly, "I never knew you - depart from my you evil doers" Matthew 7:22-23 (His goats will hear this)"To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life."I beg you, if you are a goat - turn from your carnal ways - before it is too late. Stop justifying your sins, your hate and your personal agenda. God is still on the throne and we will all reap what we sow."

Claiming" to be a Christian will not save you. Your "Christian" works will not save you. Your church attendance will not save you. God sees the heart. He sees who you long for.As for the sheep - well done! The Lord is pleased that you stood up for righteousness. Keep your mind focused on God and His Word. Keep your mind from being polluted with the ways of this world. Remember, we are IN this world, we are not OF it. We are sheep and not goats! Jesus is coming soon. Keep doing the work assigned to you by Christ and before you know it, we will be going home. Let's try to bring as many with us as we can. Pray for the sheep to remain strong and pray that the goats will turn from their ways before it is too late. Pray for Obama's salvation - for it is the Lord's will that none shall perish.

Well, it's been 3 days since the election's been decided....I've not heard any moaning, groaning or complaining about a 'rigged' election, a 'scream' for any sort of recount, at least not from the Republican side...li'l al franken was beaten in a hotly contested race(why it was so close is beyond me....franken is a bonafide clown) and one other but that one escapes my memory now.

As far as 'mending' our Country and 'uniting' it, I've seen no evidence nor heard any coming from the left, only from Republicans, not withstanding the 10% who would have gloated anyway if McCain/Palin had won. Myself, I'm stunned, it's hard to understand that in these trying times, we as a Nation elected a virtual unknown to the highest office.....I can only pray that he'll do 'the right thing' and govern according to our Constitution but I fear that will not be the case; in that scenario we'll have to keep ever vigilant for the worst and attempt to head it off at the pass.

Conservatives need to stand by and run on conservative values, Sarah Palin did and she was hated by the left and those that were 'stuck in the mud' as it were, not willing to stand tall and vote conservative. Why is she still being vilified, yeah, they have to try destroying her completely because they FEAR she'll return for '12. Old racing saying...'run what ya brung', sure applies to what went wrong this election....had all conservatives, McCain included, run a real conservative campaign they'd have cleaned house; trouble was, they didn't. They tried 'reaching out' and showing a willingness to co-operate with the left and it's lemmings; and that my fellow Americans is like taking a butter knife to a machine gun fight.

As Conservatives, I feel we need to start at the bottom and work our way up, a 'farm system' in baseball jargon...elect real conservatives at the grassroots levels of all governments...city, county, state and in Congress...hold them to real, honest conservative values. For the immediate future it's imperative to find conservative standard bearer now! A few names that come to mind are General Petraus, Mitt Romney and yes, Sarah Palin; the fact that she had more executive experience than any of the others on the ticket is another reason the liberal MSM had to besmirch her along with her Family, all showed true class and calm under fire during the mudslinging campaign just completed. Bobby Jindal is another name to be considered along with Pawlenty....Mike Huckabee is ok, but will be looked at as an opportunist after taking a show at FNC.

Hope is still glimmering, the mid-term elections will be on us quickly and hopefully we can gain enough conservative seats in Congress to avoid a lot of damage....Supreme Courts appointments, and in effect, throttling free speech via the 'fairness doctrine' are at the forefront along with our 2nd amendment rights to keep and bear arms, which were put in place to protect us as the People from the Government.

My,My, My....Barbara West asked some very pointed, albeit with maybe too much wiggle room, but joey acted like she was an escapee from the looney bin. Had some of these questions been asked by the MSM earlier...like during the primaries...ol barry wouldn't be where he is now. Quotes from li'l joey are condescending at best, talking down his nose and an arrogant air about him speak volumes. This guy is a living, breathing knucklehead smith from Howdy Doody.

This one is on an earlier posting but I feel it can't be repeated too often, we need to be constantly reminded of just how dangerous this chump is. Along with taxing us into oblivion(taxing increases during a time of recession and increasing spending)is what caused the US to fall into the depths of the Great Depression in '29. Couple that with allowing all illegal aliens the opportunity for drivers licenses only adds to the subversive element in our society enabling a grand take over and the demise of America as we know it and knew it while growing up.

This is not an attempt at instilling fear into this election, it's just pointing out what can and probably will happen if barry is elected, I don't care if he did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, he's not ready for the Presidency! Think about this for just a minute: If obama is elected and serves his 4 year term, it will be the longest he's ever spent holding a single job! All his time as a community organizer in Chicago was a failure, none of the things he set out to do materialized with any form of success...except his stint with acorn....one term in the State legislature and his claim to fame there was speaking out against a bill that would enable babies born alive after a botched abortion to have at least some comfort before expiring....instead of being just thrown into a bio hazard receptacle; and just past the 90 day probation period we all do when starting a new job is all the experience in the U.S. Senate....get real barry, you are not John Fitzgerald Kennedy!

A 25% reduction in the military community will cripple us to say nothing of blinding us in the intelligence gathering community....just another thing to ponder, the economy is the main, current issue but if the muslims win it will not matter in the least if wall street flourishes or crumbles. Tonite, ask your Father what he thinks....he's always answered me when I've called on him and didn't make me wait more than the time it took to fall asleep....I kid you not; Joe Turkal is/was a great man and smarter than hell! JI...First, neither person running for the election would be my first choice! But if I have to choose, here’s why…

P5...Originally my first choice was Fred Thompson but when he bailed, it became Mitt Romney...no skeletons and married to the same woman his entire married life speaks volumes as to character!

JI...This country needs a clearly different path….one that will regain some of the rights we’ve had before. I believe that Obama is young enough, smart enough to do it. I don’t believe he owes quite so many FAVORS as McCain does thus allowing him to really put forth what he thinks will be a solution. Much the same way Kennedy did.

P5...Reform, not 'change' is what's really needed, the system is a good system, it just needs fixed; not changed.
Actually, obama 'owes' more in favors than are on the surface...bill ayers gave him his leg up in politics, acorn was a part of his life as a community organizer...having given them a large part of 50 mil from one of those funds he sat with bill ayers on the board with...tanneberg or something, tony rezko who got him thousands in campaign contributions and that sweetheart deal on his Chicago mansion...to say nothing of having to 'pay back the Chicago machine'...yep, he's indebted up to his ears.

Far as McCain goes, you can't be in the Senate and Congress as long as he has and not have associates but I believe he's been upstanding and forthright, not owing anything of consequence to anyone...remember, he was exonerated of any wrong doing in the keating 5.

JI...I think McCain has changed to the party line whether or not he WAS a maverick before. When he couldn’t do such a hatchet job on Obama, they brought in Palin. What did she have to lose? She can always go back to her job in Alaska! If they win, she would be in line to be president! But talk about someone who hasn’t done anything to earn it! I can almost hear the “party” telling her how they would push for her presidency! She plans to “run” the Senate! Give me a break!!! To be honest, before she came on the scene, I would have given a lot more thought to McCain for president.

P5...The Vice President does 'preside' over the Senate, most time they don't and only show up for a tie breaking vote but they are the President of the Senate, therefore I guess it can be said that they 'run' the Senate...Sarah has been working in the capacity of CEO of her State and the city of Wasilla, that gives her way more experience than either obama or biden.

McCain has been true to his word about negative campaigning...can't really say the same for his campaign tho...he did silence people going negative early on in the campaign and quiets the ones he can at rallies that spew hatred. Politics is politics, the VP has been the 'attack dog' for quite some time...I do not go for that stuff but when is an 'attack' really an 'attack? Is pointing out aspects of your opponent an attack or is screaming about the clothes they wear an attack? Why did Joe the plumber get more scrutiny in 24 hours from the MSM than obama get in over 20 months? Why were Ohio's government computers used to try getting dirt on Joe? (a punishable crime) The 'race card' has been thrown out by obama and his whole campaign although no mention of race has come from the McCain camp...don't you just wonder a little about that? In the Corps we called that a pre-emptive strike...same as the Japs at Pearl Harbor.

If the republicans could have found ONE SHRED of more involvement, it would have front and center in their TV ads. Right or wrong??? About Wright, maybe he gave him some validation to his black background. But – think about this – he didn’t have a family history of slaves being brought to this county. His father was from Africa and there is no ax to grind there. He was brought up by his white grandparents and white mother. I don’t believe he has an inbred resentment for anyone. I think he’s grateful for the opportunities he was given as a poor person – and I don’t think it slipped by that it was because of being a poor black person.

His accounting of their relationship was vague at best...the real mistake the Republicans made was not tying obama to all the Woods Foundation money, the tannenburg money and the fact that ayers to this day calls himself an anarchist who believes he didn't do enough in the 70's as a member of the Weather Underground.

JI...I heard with my own ears McCain say he was going to “go up against those big overgrown government unions” – the same one that helped you keep your job and get your pension! I believe there’s a lot to say for unions overstepping the original intention of these organizations – just as our founding fathers didn’t mean for the first amendment to allow so called news people the right to rail against our government and sitting presidents…what is the description for treason?

P5...Real meat here...seriously! I'm still as staunch a Union Member as I ever was but I still hold the same opinion as I did about them from '68...they need to police themselves! At Danner, after a while, I sat on the grievance joint standing committee....management hated me! Ernie Scozzarella and I had numerous discussions about the grievances filed...merit was the main concern. Management was not always wrong, nor were the Union Members...if a member filed for his job back but was totally out of bounds legally, how can that be defended? I wouldn't even go to the Union if I knew I was actually in the wrong. Collective Bargaining was another story, I sat on one or two of those committees and fought dave bracken unmerciful...he had me removed from one meeting because I'd hammered him rightfully really bad...he was a jerk. As a Union, we policed ourselves, if you didn't rate being 'moved up', you weren't even if the Company wanted it. Now the Postal Union is and was very different....whether you were right or wrong, they got jobs back and discipline reduced...is that right? I don't feel it is, simply because the workforce works different than Danner....a guy sluffun' off at the Post Office causes other carriers to carry more of the load....that ain't right and the goof-offs were smilin' all the time. I always conducted myself in the manner of a 'fair days work for a fair days wage'...anything less and I shouldered my blame...no, I'm not a martyr! The way things went for me at the PO the last 4 years I worked were abhorrent, no one should have to work under those conditions but I told them flat out...I ain't leavin' and you can't get anything on me to fire me...deal with it. Nerve wracking? Yes, but also fun in a twisted way. The lousy $535 a month from the PO is chicken feed, the only thing I got from them worth anything is the health insurance and I pay over $250 a month for that.

JI...Why do I care so much now? Well, there seems to be a widening separation between the rich and the middle class. It happened almost quietly. Remember the big deal trip to China by Nixon? Think some promises were made – in exchange for big business to make a killing?! Like I said, Reagan started the ball rolling. Bush 1 – I just found out – was the one who put the NAFTA agreement together although Clinton had to sign it.

P5...As for nixon and China, you should remember my feelings about that crap and my feelings about nixon in general, that he went down in history as a great statesman(he's a damn crook as far as I'm concerned and a paranoid one to boot!)is a great injustice. Sure, the books were cooked for bigger deals, hence the 'global economy' that we're saddled with to this day, furthered by Bush1 and his 'New World Order'...what a crock! But, had the Republicans not taken control of the House and Senate, welfare reform wouldn't have occurred and all the taxes levied on the middle class by xlinton would have doubled or even tripled....I put a lot on Ross Perot and myself(since I voted for Perot)for the election of that draft dodger xlinton whom I still hold in great contempt along with kerry and fonda. Worse than NAFTA is the threat of a North American Union in the mold of the European Union...sure, they have national health care but waiting for an appointment can lead to death before ever you see a doctor and forget a second opinion! The cost of health care is crazy...do the math, I pay $250+ a month for family coverage(have to wait for Zach to be on ChampVa before I can cancel it), is that anywhere near what they both say health care costs? When we got out of the Corps we got in a group for Blue Cross remember? What was out of pocket for that and you were covered immediately being pregnant with Josette at the time. Are we all being lied to and by whom? Johnny Carson said it best in the 50's....who do you trust?

P5...Read that story about barney frank I sent earlier...after the democrats took control in '06 elections all this crap went unabated, McCain started warning of the Fannie and Freddie peril as early as '05 only to be hindered by the democrats. Remember what joe biden did to Sam Alito's wife during the judicial hearings? He reduced her to tears with lies and innuendo to try destroying her husband and keep him off the Supreme Court....why? because he interprets the constitution, doesn't re-write it; any 'protection' will come from the Judiciary(can't believe I'm saying this! lol)not from the corruption in Congress.

JI...I’m looking for Obama to get some public works projects started to employ people and get our cities up to date…possibly a way to pay for college. I think that’s one way he will change things. Not give things to people but rather give people a chance. EVERY American child should not only be encouraged to go on to higher education, but be given a leg up in the financial part of it! As it is right now, I don’t see anything promising about the futures of our grandchildren.

P5...Why not start with those receiving welfare? Have them work to get their checks and take random drug screenings, after all, it's the taxpayers money...hell, ya gotta take a drug test to get a job right? Students working their way thru college is a novel idea don't you think? Tony and Josette did it but what about the faculties of these 'higher learning institutions' Bill Ayers teaches at one and a lotta them are staffed by the same demonstrators from the SDS, Symbionese Liberation Party as well as outright communists...should we allow them to teach our young? The elementary schools are really no better, they are actively indoctrinating the young ones about sex and even going so far as making videos about how great obama is! Zach goes to Parochial School for more than just Religion, it's a more better learning environment and he will not be taught that being a homosexual is a choice in lifestyle.....tolerance of others beliefs is one thing but having those beliefs taught to young impressionable children is not something I'll stand aside for as I know you wouldn't either. It's a damn ugly world out there, I really wish our kids and grandkids, right down to Zach and little Joey could grow up in an environment like we enjoyed as kids....what an idea.

A little some thing for the undecided voters out there and also the Independents; there is a great line from the movie 'Karate Kid'..the first one...Myagi is speaking to a somewhat undecided Daniel about learning karate, he gives this description which is true in life we live everyday...to paraphrase; 'If you stay on right of road, ok...if you stay on left of road, ok...but if you walk on the centerline...squish, just like grape'. This sums this election up in short order folks but if you need any clarification, here ya go. For those who want higher taxes, legal abortion even to underage girls without parental notification, partial-birth abortion or no care for the babies who survive an abortion...then o'bummer is your man. If you prefer illegal aliens (no PC here...they are illegal and they are not citizens so they are aliens!) to have the 'right' to drivers licenses', to vote, to collect social security (even tho they didn't contribute a dime to it) and the right to move about in the USA freely, then again...o'bummer is your man. Now if on the other hand, you are not for the previous listed, then John McCain is your man. Granted, McCain is not a perfect candidate but then who is perfect? I've been having an assortment of thoughts after Wednesday's debate between o'bummer and McCain; have to admit that I've become confused on more than a couple points.

Joe asked a simple question, o'bummer took it as easy to answer but lo and behold, his answer blew up in his face. 'Spread the wealth' is the cigar barry'll have to smoke for some time now but wait...o'bummer's campaign and MSM to the rescue; who is Joe the plumber they ask. Well, turns out that the MSM can dig info up on ol Joe quicker than they can dig anything up on rezcko, ayers, franklin and jimmy johnson...even joey biden gets in on the act, I guess he's upset because Joe the plumber is the new 'Joe, the regular guy'. Questions I'm hearing from o'bummer and biden are like 'how can this guy make 250K in the plumbing business?', no plumber in my neighborhood makes that kinda money. And the crowd screams their approval! Are you kidding me? Is this a harbinger of things to come? These cheering minions will be the first o'bummer/biden will throw under the bus...just another bunch of 'useful idiots'. Face it both of y'all, Joe the plumber wants to buy and run his own business, hiring plumbers and expanding clientele; depending on his area of work, he'll make well over 250K annually and then o'bummer's taxes will attack and re-distribute the 'wealth' that Joe will make....people, it's real hard for one person to make that kinda money working by himself; does everything have to be spelled out to these 'super, elite individuals'?

Sarah Palin came on the scene, a virtual unknown...made a speech or two and was viciously attacked by MSM and the o'bummer/biden campaign. How did Sarah respond? Very well I believe, she recognized it for what it was...buffalo-chips! But when a true fact is hung on either o'bummer/biden, they scream..attack ad, attack ad and get all indignant. Why is that you ask? Well, this is the way I see it...they know that the only thing that can expose their lies is the truth and they will do anything possible to stifle that even going as far as slander, smearing and character assassination, which is exactly what is being done by the campaign and MSM with Joe and Sarah. The slick talking o'bummer would have y'all think he's for the 'little guy', so will joey the un-regular guy but in reality all they want to do with the general populace is control them...like sheep. Speaking of 'sheep', remember the introduction of biden in Tampa when he was introduced as McCain, all the 'sheep' were bleating their approval...just like robots or shall we call them 'obamabots'?

The wife of o'bummer....Lordy she is living a mighty high life here in the 'mean ol USA' having lobster and champagne at 4 in the afternoon, wonder if she's finally 'proud' of the USA now or is she still looking down her nose at all the struggling middle class citizens? I suspect the latter, hope you finished your plates michelle, there are starving kids in Africa that could have used the food that the money spent on your extravagance could have bought; and that inspires another question of how much ol barry really cares about those that do not have much...how much and how often have the o'bummers helped his family in Kenya out? More than likely they don't have time for all that and can't remember except when it suits their purpose....way to go, losers.

Watching the dinner/roast last night, I thought o'bummer was gonna explode...just beneath the surface of his calm, cold demeanor was a torrent of hate just waiting to explode...he looked completely out of place and it showed, when he spoke the words were funny but his delivery wasn't, poison laced every sentence, every word was a dagger, this arrogant SOB is not fit to be president of his own hate America club, what a disgusting individual. Even katie couric showed her posterior, after assailing Sarah Palin in her 'interviews/slams', she shows up wearing her hair in the style Sarah popularized, what a flaming hypocrite!

Listening about the MSM today, all the pundits were saying that in order to keep intrest in a 'runaway' victory for o'bummer, the MSM had to allow the appearance of McCain/Palin gaining in the polls; I for one don't see it that way, I believe the polls are skewered, no doubt, but not in that way...they are infected, slanted and unreliable. Infected with lies, slanted in order to allow all to jump the 'bandwagon' of victory for o'bummer and un-reliable in that, they aren't representative; they are overloaded with democrats, not an even sampling of voters or undecided voters. I hear all the reports of o'bummer's 'lead' but I don't see the people here echoing those numbers. In another instance, the Secretary of State in Ohio snubs her nose at a Federal Court ordering her to insure all voters in that state be confirmed as legal voters....acorn registered over 200,000 fraudulent voters in Ohio...how can anyone in any state really believe the election will be legitimate? This is just an inkling of what's to come with an o'bummer/biden administration...more taxes, freedom of speech will be a thing of the past, we'll be spending way more than incoming revenues provide and there will be, class warfare; the elites and the regular joe.

The ultra-radical group, a.c.o.r.n. has really gotten things up in a roar with all the FBI raids on their headquarters in many states (primarily, battleground states); Rep. lewis from the peachy state of Georgia has thrown another race card (how many cards in that deck and how many decks are on the left?), not 'peachy' Rep. Lewis...that duck won't fly. Thing is, it don't matter, it's just another lie that 'isn't a lie' according to the lefties...it's like ol barry saying' he only knew billy ayers only from being' a 'guy in the neighborhood'. Ol barry's association with billy ain't about billy being' a '60's radical, terrorist bomber, it's about the association of the two right here, right now! I'll start with the distribution of what, 15 Mil from ayers, thru hussein obama to a.c.o.r.n. for not the school improvement projects, but for radical instructions about teaching our young to bring down our country; about voter registration fraud...Mickey Mouse, really? Daffy Duck would have been a less obvious registration.

Does oilslick obama's sweetheart house purchase thru tony rezco have anything to do with his honesty or lack of it? Often times, private musings take on exaggerated flights of fancy into realms of ridiculous improbability. Such was the case recently as I mulled over the ridiculous state of affairs currently on the American scene.

We're in the final days of what has been an extraordinary political campaign. A campaign that started too early and has lasted too long. It offers history-making choices, but the choices also present troublesome problems. On one hand, we are given a candidate who is, to put it gently, a bit long in the tooth, and we wonder whether he can survive a term in the office of President. Perhaps to offset anxiety, McCain offered a bright, personable and YOUNG running mate for V-P. Not only that, this candidate is a woman...a first on a Republican ticket. Sarah Palin shows great promise. But is it just a bit too soon for her to step onto the national stage? Perhaps. Perhaps not, but something to consider.

On the other hand, we're given a "choice," (and I use the word guardedly) of a black man competing to become the nation's Chief Executive. Another historical first in American politics. The basic idea is good. There's every reason that a Black person become the Commander-in-Chief. But is obama the RIGHT black man? Numerous factors -- countless factors -- indicate that he is not. However, one of the best days in the American story will be when a candidate can run for any office in the land while being designated not as Black, Asian, Anglo, male, female or whatever. Note that no label should be allowed as "African-American," "Hispanic-American," etc. A person either is AMERICAN or not. The best day will be when anyone can campaign for public office as an AMERICAN. Period. Is that an impossible dream? No, it is not. But people have to get their heads on straight for it to become reality. At the current rate, that day is far in the future.

The election of 2008 is fraught with many troublesome aspects. The taint of marxist-fascism, the giant shift toward socialism, lack of experience, arrogance over patriotism.... So troubling, that one question keeps darting through my head:

WHAT IF THEY GAVE AN ELECTION, AND NOBODY CAME?

Of course, it won't happen. Americans don't cooperate in an endeavor to that extent! But what if no one, not a single eligible voter went to the polls on Election Day? Would the country come to a complete halt? Probably Congress would go into panic sessions. But the two houses cannot work together, so no solution would be forthcoming. Would it then be left to the Supreme Court to decide who the new President would be? Heaven forbid! We cannot let that judiciary body decide such an enormous issue. Those people are hard-pressed to decide on which shoes to wear to any given session.

I'm disappointed. I'm disgusted. Most of all, I'm fearful for our Country's future. Whatever the results, our Citizens will cast their ballots on November 4. May God have mercy on us.

Very important last few weeks of the Presidential Campaign, barry hussein obama has a sizable lead in the major polls but who is he really? Is he a Patriot like he implies or a parasite who will skin our nation alive with new taxes and associations with muslim extremist groups and nations? He refused to wear an American Flag pin on his lapel, doesn't pay the due respect for the flag of our country which he says he's 'ready' to lead and associates with out-spoken haters of America...ie: billy ayers and looney louie farrakhan. America, are you listening? Are you watching? Do you really associate your views on how our nation should be governed with barry barack hussein obama? This individual is a 'bottom-feeder', the only thing he wishes to 'forward' is his own agenda, country first means nothing to him and like sheep, the left follows him happily because they view him not as a leader but as an individual that will promote their own self interests. His claim of sounding the alarm about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is fictitious at best, he in fact impeded the regulations that John McCain wanted back in '05 to keep the economic meltdown we're experiencing now from happening. Along with barney 'Rubble' frank and maxine watters, obama turned a blind eye to the brewing collapse of both mortgage buyers and pocketed over $100,000.00 in campaign 'kick-backs' in 3 short years. Now he's got frankie raines (who pocketed +/- 90 Mil from those same institutions) on his economic advisory board! What other 'safe' are these cohorts looking to crack and rob? Who is really pushing barry barack hussein obama toward the White House? Ask yourself, 'who is this guy', I do believe you'll come up short for answers while at the same time, hussein obama is showing us all what he really is....a damn parasite!

If you can stomach these next photos, look closely at whom barry hussein obama associates with, look at the arrogant look on his face while the National Anthem is played.....then think of all the trickery and tomfoolery he's engaged to hide his real self. Another example of obama's selfishness happened a couple weeks ago amid the Congressional battle for the bailout bill, hussein obama wouldn't do the job he's elected and payed to do by returning to D.C. to help sort out the mess, hell, he didn't have to, it all played to his advantage! This is where the 'parasite' comes into play, his self interests were more important than the country's; John McCain went to D.C. and was vilified by the left for doing so, saying he was 'grandstanding', truth of the matter is, McCain was trying to get the economic mess sorted out while hussein obama seized that opportunity to trash McCain...and he preaches bi-partisanship...if that isn't a crock of buffalo chips, then Popeye's a punk. Just a day or so before all that went down, John McCain said the 'fundamentals of our economy are strong'....great caesars ghost! The silver tounged devil seized on that and screamed McCain was 'out of touch', that the economy was in crisis (which it was and still is, but it's fundamentals are strong),now, last Friday what did the silver tounged devil say? 'Our economy is fundamentaly strong'...excuse me, but when McCain said that you disagreed now you are saying the same thing...who is really out of touch? Who is, once again, the parasite?

Take a good long look, do some serious soul searching...are you as uncomfortable about this as I am? Also ask yourself...what is a community organizer?....do jesse jackson and al sharpton come to mind? They should and by the way, why haven't we heard all that much from either of those to looney tunes? Have they been muzzled so as not to draw attention to what a 'community organizer' is? Will you sit by as louie farrakhan continues to berate America, blatantly hate America? Will you sit back and empower the likes of billy ayers, who along with his wife, was a prominent member of the radical group 'weather underground', sworn to destroy America in the sixties and seventies? I was a young man during those tulmultious times, it wasn't pretty seeing our country torn apart, held hostage by the radical groups of the times; of that, I can assure you.

Those were days I'd as soon forget, dark days...Kent State, the SDS...all hell-bent on tearing down 'The Establishment', yet today we find them part of the same 'establishment'. They didn't succeed back then so they went 'underground' and infiltrated society, academia and the political wings...the result is seen from the election of slick willie right up to the present day. The 'anything goes as long as the job gets done' mentality of the clinton years has seeped into everyday America, young teenage girls bragging of being pregnant...by young, I'm saying 13 years old...Did the job really 'get done' or was monica lewinsky the objective? Was ol slick willie enjoying a 'cigar' in the oval office while obl was planning and carrying out his butchery?

What do we want from our government? What do we expect from our leaders? Has the theme of small federal government gone with the wind, along with state's rights? Are we that lazy and easily led that we have to have the Feds come in and rescue us? Or is it that the fabric of our country has deteriorated beyond truth and infected us with such 'helplessness' that we are incapable of doing what is best for all concerned? That is the right thing to do.

This is the night for the 2nd Presidential Debate, John McCain has the opportunity to get hussein obama to 'fess up', to explain who he really is. Sarah started the ball rolling last Thursday, it's time for John McCain to pick up the baton and finish what Sarah started; expose this individual for what he is, remove the cloak surrounding him and let the light that will be shed....show for all what barry barack hussein obama really is...a lying, manipulating parasite.

Sarah can and will de-fang joey the miscreant if she's allowed to by the McCain Campaign; just let Sarah be herself! The MSM will never report this debate as a victory for Sarah in the first place, all the more reason to just 'turn her loose'; Sarah can question or throw back in joey's face the vote in '73 where he was only one of five Senators who voted against the Alaska pipeline. Were we getting crude from somewhere else? Think for a minute, do all the shortages of that time come to mind? It's one thing to 'put yourself under one's thumb' willingly as biden did by voting against the pipeline and another, being put under the thumb, by someone else. Judgement, little joey has none...Character, once again, little joey comes up short. The other four Senators voting in the minority are long gone...but little joey remains, Why? The only argument being made against the pipeline was fear of ruining the habitat of the Caribou whose population in the '70's was 5,000...it stands at 32,000 as of '02....environmental activists are coming to mind. We all know that in the name of Ecology, our proud Nation has been subjected to ridiculous laws passed by 'bought by political donations' Senators such as little joey are the reason why he and others like him are still in the Senate. Preserving our environment is an important thing and we should do all that's possible to achieve this but at what cost? Are we having our noses cut off to spite our faces by these kinds of politicians? The way I see it, we are, how many jobs were lost to save some 'unseen by human eyes' tree frog or obscure bird up in timber country? How many other jobs in how many other industries were lost for the same reason? Did we need to 'clean up our act'? Damn straight, but not to the extent of crippling our Nation, making us insecure and depending on other countries for natural resources we already have. Saving those resources is a good thing but are we saving them for someone who will overtake our country after we've been rendered helpless by not using what we have to keep us secure in the World?

Get him Sarah, it's your state that he seemed to understand better than you do now...hammer that point home...in spades! Expose his lack of 'character' by being on the wrong side of history so often, making partisan decisions for his own political/financial gain, instead of decisions in the best interest of our Country. Little joey's vision is blurry on many things, some on a historical plane, others when he's looking 'live' right at it...'Stand up Chuck, oh...uh, well I'm sorry Chuck, how can you stand up if you're in that wheelchair'? Then the historical blunder, or was it trying to get credit for his party earlier, by saying that FDR went on television in '29 to reassure our country with his famous quote "We have nothing to fear but fear itself". All the history I've ever read was that Herbert Hoover was President in '29 and television didn't become available for a number of years later. Gaze into your 'crystal ball' joey and give me this weeks winning lotto numbers, I'll need that money now that we're at a point where we have to bail out Wall Street because your cronies on the left helped run Fannie and Freddie into the ground. Character? Yeah bud, you show a lot of it...just like barney, harry, chrissy, hussein and dicky durbin all running around like the KeyStone Kops.

This whole 'Fair Debate' premise reminds me of gambling in Las Vegas, you have the illusion of 'fairness' but you really know how it'll end up; you'll lose at the slots, the tables and if you aren't careful, your reputation and savings. In a way, I can relate to how Sarah Palin must be thinking...the media already has her losing, the deck is stacked against her with the selection of Gwen Iffil as moderator; if Sarah just 'survives' the 'debate', she will have won. I can only hope that the stage isn't all greased up, causing her to slip and fall....it would not surprise me though, seeing how she has caused such a stir and such fear in the liberal left.

'Country First' says it all in two words, how John McCain and Sarah Palin are ready to lead, ready to do their jobs and take on the responsibility of leading and governing our nation. McCain suspended his campaign for President to return to D.C. in an attempt to get our current financial crisis resolved; as a sitting Senator, that's what's expected of him, that's taking responsibility and doing the job he was elected to do by the people of Arizona. The democratz in 'power' say he was grandstanding, trying to politic using the crisis to further his presidential campaign; this couldn't be farther from the truth. On the other hand, obama did not want to return to D.C. to do the job he was elected to do, he opted for the line...'call me if you need me'...what will he do if elected president, tell the people to call him if needed? So, after McCain leaves for D.C., the democratz leadership say they already have a solution worked out, thus the charge of grandstanding gets leveled against McCain...balderdash! McCain was putting 'Country First' in motion, doing the job he was elected to do. It is almost a week later, the debate was held as scheduled on the Ole Miss campus and we still do not have a solution to the crisis worked out...thanks to the same yahoos that really got us into the mess we have at hand. McCain is vilified for doing his job and obama is worshiped for not doing his job! Will someone puhleeze explain this to me? Maybe charlie gibson or katie couric...maybe olberman or maher...or letterman and pelassi (now there's a match made in hell!).

Experience has taught me that whomever points the 'finger of guilt' first, is usually the one more than guilty of the offense. Granted, Dubya has made some serious blunders...no arguments there...but the mess on Wall Street, the corruption of Fannie and Freddie does not belong with Dubya any more than the 'label' of 'not ready to lead' belongs on Sarah. All the talk of gaffes' credited to Sarah over the last couple weeks during biased interviews with the press, pale next to what ms pelassi did yesterday by her words in a spiel before the House voted on the economic bailout bill. In fact, that whip she's holding would and could be better used on her husband for allowing her out of the house. This beotch is dangerous folks, downright dangerous!

Ms pelassi, would you please...post the bill on-line in it's entirety or at the least...detail the 'riders' (read...pork) that were attached to this grand illusion. 700 billion is hard enough to take but whatever 'pork' was added to buy votes for it's passage have to be ludicrous. You have a majority in the House beotch, use your whip to 'convince' 12 more of your dumbocratz to vote positive and pass this monster or shut the hell up! Walking around like you have a 'pair' is not good enough...show them and use them; I'm not talking bras here either...you want to act like a man, then show that you have what a man does have....the cajones to get done what you say has to be done! Presidential Race and the issue of Race....

As long as I've been watching through the entire primary process and up to this point in the Presidential Campaign, the only references to 'race' have been made by the liberal left democratz. Can you imagine this individual sitting across the table from Vladimir Putin? The 'snow would melt on the summit' if that were the case. Are we to believe that this is to be interpreted as 'nuance' from a deep thinker? My suggestion is no, it's pure and simple the stuttering and stammering of an incompetent try to answer a simple question. An Opinion: (Sorry, it may contain some “typo’s”)

Kindly take the time to read this brief message from an old U.S. Veteran (U.S. Marine Corps – Combatant RVN) who has given a tremendous amount of thought and analysis to this most important issue: Who is going to be the next President of these United States?
I do not believe that the vast majority of my fellow citizens are really doing just that: THINKING AND ANALYZING!

Granted, there are only two choices. There exist some “Independent” candidates, but they are all relatively inconsequential. Unfortunately, that almost always seems to be the case! Why? I can only conclude that the reason lies in the unfortunate fact that “Becoming the President of The United States of America” has, for many decades, evolved into the ultimate goal of extremely self-serving, self-centered egomaniacs who, in truth, are more interested in their own “GLORIFICATION” and personal highlight in American history than they are in our Country’s problematic sociological, economic, defense, and health needs and solutions, with practical emplacement and technocratic preservation of those items. It has evolved into an insane “Popularity Contest”! I have always felt strongly that all candidates in both Parties should be held strictly accountable for their fantastic and often unrealistic promises that they “swear” to implement. If elected, possible criminal charges and penalties should be brought against all such “breaches-of-promise”, to the letter of the law.
First and foremost: The President, in reality, has very limited power to personally implement any “CHANGE” or restructuring of U.S. National policy, law and/or procedure without the approval of the U.S. Congress! Our CONGRESS is truly where the real power and clout exists in our great Nation! Obviously, it has not been doing so well under Nancy Pelosi and her Liberal minions.

Fact: The President of the U.S. is nothing more than the Chief Executive Officer (EXECUTIVE BRANCH) of my hypothetically named U.S. of A. Corporation. A corporate figurehead in a Brook Brother’s suit! His teams of attorneys (JUDICIAL BRANCH), job superintendents and foremen (CABINET MEMBERS), accountants (TREASURY DEPARTMENT), and labor force (CONGRESS) are the ones who are really supposed to make the gears turn adequately in a profitable and productive manner. There is, as well, an Intelligence Community, but that particular arm of government has slowly been weakened and greatly disarmed over the years.
Of course, the CEO (President) can place some (but, NOT ALL) people of his/her choice into some of those key positions – which, in itself, is scary. But, and of utmost attention and importance, this CEO (the President) is single-handedly empowered to place this Country into a state-of-war, or render it virtually defenseless or continue to maintain the U.S. as a first-rate world power! He is, extremely importantly, the Commander-in-Chief of our County’s defense arm. This single element of absolute, personal power is the most vital issue that needs to be very seriously scrutinized in the selection of our next U.S. President!
The “Business Executive” portions of the U.S. Presidency can be dealt out to other, more capable “Lieutenants”, but the Commander-in-Chief’s job CANNOT!!
Barrack Hussein Obama not only lacks any real corporate executive experience or even any real substantial political track-record…neither did he ever even enlist in any branch of the U.S. Military Services. Is that the sign of a TRUE AMERICAN PATRIOT? Hell no! He has no clue as to the difference between a hand-grenade and a block of C4. He has no idea as to the purpose or vital command capability of an enormous, global 24/7’s strategic air and sea protective umbrella for our Country. He is not even sure how many States there are to protect!

NONE AMONG US REALLY KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THIS OBAMA'S RELIGIOUS FAITH! NONE AMONG US REALLY KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT OBAMA’S TRUE ALLEGIANCE, NOR “TO WHOM?” NONE AMONG US REALLY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT OBAMA'S PAST, OR HIS UPBRINGING OR HIS TRUE FAMILY BACKGROUND. WHO PAID FOR THIS GUY’S EXTRAVAGANT AND ASTRONOMICALLY EXPENSIVE EDUCATION? ACTUALLY, NONE AMONG US KNOW VERY MUCH AT ALL ABOUT THE GUY! HE IS EVASIVE ABOUT EVERYTHING CONCERNING EVEN THE MOST FUNDAMENTALLY IMPORTANT QUESTIONS; “WHO EXACTLY ARE YOU, FROM WHO ARE YOU AND YOURS' REALLY DESCENDED, JUST EXACTLY WHAT ALL DO YOU BELIEVE IN AND (MOST SCARY) EXACTLY WHAT ARE YOU PROPOSING TO “CHANGE” IN AMERICA?” IS HE POSSIBLY A WELL TAILORED, STRUCTURED AND ELOQUENTLY PREPARED (JIHAD?) MUSLIM MOLE? I, FOR ONE, DO NOT WANT TO WAKE UP ONE MORNING TO FIND OUT THAT HE IS A STRATEGICALLY PLANTED COUNTER-U.S. OPERATIVE SEEKING THE MOST STRATEGICALLY IMPORTANT JOB IN THIS WORLD! AS SUCH, HE WOULD MOST CERTAINLY BE EMPOWERED TO DESTROY THIS COUNTRY FROM WITHIN! REMEMBER THE TROJAN HORSE?! WHY GAMBLE? WHY TAKE THE RISK!

Are you really going to cast your vote for an unknown U.S. Presidential nominee, only because he is a better and more clever "showman"?
I would certainly NEVER entrust the safety and welfare of my minor child to a nice-looking, “tall-talking” stranger who wanted to take him/her on just a camping trip with his family. A person about whom I basically knew nothing!! I believe I would want to know a bit more about that stranger than the fact that he is a “humorous, well-educated, eloquent and polished speaker”! So was Ted Bundy! Much less would I entrust the very fate of my country’s entire population to such an unknown!!!

John McCain’s military record speaks for itself. His background is rock-solid U.S.A., and he is, at the very least, a true American patriot. He is a good Christian and family man. His faith, personal history, family history and allegiances are open books! And, he is also familiar with many of the errors and mismanagement procedures that have been committed by the current administration due to his years of diversified experience in the Washington DC/International arenas. Of note, he certainly has a much broader and wiser clue than Obama into some viable remedies. He may not necessarily be the peoples' foremost person to pick for the job, BUT HE IS DEFINITELY A GOOD ONE AND IS SURELY OUR ONLY SAFE, RATIONAL AND REALISTIC CHOICE!!

DAYS THAT CHANGED OUR LIVES

Seems only yesterday, though it's been seven years. September 11, 2001 is forever etched into memory. This morning I scanned photos of the World Trade Center horror. And again I cried. The staggering shock will never go away. It was Pearl Harbor all over again.

Pearl Harbor wasn't supposed to happen again. That's what we thought. In our enduring innocent ignorance, we forgot that history indeed repeats. And so we now have two momentous horrifying days that "live in infamy."

When (if) we can get past the shock, the horror, the tragedy, something else surfaces. What follows is remembering the bravery--the gutsy, ballsy heroism that Americans do so well. American Marines did it in 1918 at Belleau Wood. American military and civilians showed supreme gallantry on December 7, 1941 and in the North Atlantic, on D-Day, In the Pacific and Iwo Jima. Police, Fire Department personnel and countless others displayed uncommon courage on September 11, 2001. The accounts of selfless heroism from NYC to the Pentagon to Flight 93 are portraits of what Americans do. It's who we are.

Tomorrow I'll fly my American flag. I'll send prayers of thanks for all Americans of all times - victims and heroes. My prayers will include gratitude that I claim this Great Land as my own. Yep--no apology given or needed: I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN.

Over the weekend, hussein obama has referenced not once, but twice, 'my muslim faith'. Slip of the tounge, miss spoke? Highly unlikely, this is the 'deep thinker' who chooses and measures his words carefully before answering questions...ie: the SaddleBack Debate. It appears to me that li'l barry is acting and speaking like a 3rd grader who is in the Principal's office and is trying to explain why he was sent there...multiple answers for the same question, all different! Over the period of my lifetime, there have been numerous people who have changed faith and became muslim....cassius clay...became muhammed ali; lew alcindor....became kareem abdul jabbar; bobby moore....became ahmad rashad. The point I'm making here is, why did barack hussein obama not change his name to a Christian name when he became a Christian? Something that jumps out to me is, a certificate of live birth might be needed in order to legally change names; that is just one thing, another is has he really become a Christian or is he still a muslim? The Christian church that he cites as to where he was introduced to Jesus Christ, the trinity united church of Christ...pastored by jeremiah wright...does not appear to be teaching Christianity but black theology, a far cry from what our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, preached...'Love thy neighbor as thyself'......think about it.

Another 'happening' over the weekend was oprah winfrey's not inviting Sarah Palin onto her show....why not? Afraid Sarah will completely overshadow her? oprah, or harpo...whichever you like best...says only after the election will she invite Sarah, citing that she doesn't want to appear to be endorsing either candidate....well, that point didn't stop her from flat coming out for hussein obama. If I were Sarah, I'd tell oprah to stuff her show in her hat, oprah ain't for all women, only women who believe her line of garbage, those women who can't think for themselves....adios oprah/harpo!

On Working Mom's....

The past week has been one of the brightest, amazing and restored hope weeks I've had in a long damn time. Sarah will show just how a 'working Mom' does the job, after all, she's been doing it during her entire time of motherhood. I, personally, can relate to what Sarah's done in that category...I've had full custody of my Son since he was 3 months old....by myself! You bet I had help, my Mom would come down on weekends to stay with him on Saturdays because daycare I used wasn't open on weekends; besides, I had to re-learn a lot of things since my youngest when Zach was born was 24 years old. I have a greater respect for single Mom's after that experience, you can bet your booty on that!

What I'd like to know is where are all the feminists', lauding Sarah? Is it because she's a Conservative Republican, or maybe because she has beauty to go along with brains? Another thing I find myself pondering is, why michelle is on the campaign trail with hubby instead of taking care of her children? Why did she quit her job when hubby decided to run for the Oval Office? Conflict of intrest or just campaigning for hubby...in which case, would leave her open for questioning by the media about her campaign comments. Are you proud of your Country now michelle, that a woman is on a ticket for VP? Or, are you mad and jealous?...Do you find America a 'mean country' again?

I had to laugh out loud when I heard all the late night joksters had to scramble to change all the 'lines' they had for who they thought was gonna be the VP choice....I laughed even louder when I heard about sammy donaldson getting all upset because Sarah passed under the MSM radar, after all, aren't they the ones who vett candidates? At least they think so....so sorry sammy, petey and katie. Your way of vetting candidates was well displayed by the coverage y'all provided, implying that Sarah's daughter was actually the mother of Sarah's Downs Syndrome baby....and what business is it of yours to bring up her husbands DUI from 22 years ago? Figuring he's about the same age, that would make him in the neighborhood of 22 to 24 years old.....big deal, what was oilslick obama doing at that age and younger...drugs. What has oilslick obama ever accomplished...being a professional agitator, gave lectures on law (not teaching), voting 'present' on almost thing that required a vote in the state legislature....then 143 days in the U.S. Senate, just 53 days more than a probation period for a regular job....these things hardly qualify him to be CinC, in fact, neither he nor joey have half the experience as Sarah to qualify for the job. Being a Mayor and a Govenor, are qualifying jobs for being VP and/or President. YEEHAWWW! Can't curb my enthusiasm. Sarah Palin spoke tonight and it was a joy to hear and watch. She's a beautiful lady--not at all plain, except that she is plain-spoken. The warm-up speech from Rudy Guilani was a superb opener. If he'd made a speech of that quality during the primaries, I think he'd have gone farther into that season. Tonight, he was electrifying. Nicest thing, he was having such a good time. He loved that crowd, and they certainly loved him. So did I.

But it was Sarah's night. She's a new star on our horizon, and she shone brilliantly. I loved the way she tore into obama/biden. She cut obama off at the knees so deftly, I doubt he feels the cut even yet. But he will. Oh, lord yes, he'll feel it keenly in days to come. More important was the fact that Sarah gave her audience a clear portrait of where she came from, where she's been, where she wants to go and what she wants to accomplish. Most important, she let us see who she is. And what she is ain't bad.

A week ago, the country was asking "Who is Sarah Palin?" Tonight, we have a much better idea who she is, what she stands for. We got a better look at her family and her obvious pride in that family. She's had enough government experience to understand the pitfalls. She doesn't know the D.C. social scene yet. But she said in so many words, she isn't going to Washington to kiss butt. Seems her idea is more on the lines of kicking some butts.

Her remarks about McCain were eloquent. I cheered at a particular thing when she mentioned the other candidates promising to go to Washington and fight for us. Then she said, "There's only one man in this campaign who has fought for you." What a glowing tribute to Senator McCain.

Following the network coverage, a local TV crew covered a Republican gathering in Seattle. The women in the group were yelling and cheering. One of them said, "Sarah Palin is a Sherman tank in high heels." In the back of the room a man said softly, "I want to vote for PRESIDENT Palin."

I say let's give her four years as vice-president, then we can promote her to President.

The 2008 election campaigning began much too soon. By the time the DNC convened its paris-hilton-temple bash, I was sick and tired of everything political.

Then along came John. McCain, that is. His v-p choice--and the impeccable timing of announcing that choice--sent an enormous Jack Daniels shot straight to the gut, didn't it? I can't remember ever being so excited about anything political. I do regret that the contest is going to be a dirty one. We're apt to see quantities of mud--enough to cover the largest Alaskan glacier.

Already the MSP is reporting (and I use that word with tongue-in-cheek) on the 'Alaskagate' business concerning Gov. Palin. I would've been angry at this morning's Washington Post item...except I couldn't stop gasping, and then laughing. If you haven't caught up on it yet...here's the report: Gov. Palin fired the Alaska state police commissioner because the commissioner wouldn't fire one of the state troopers. It seems Palin's sister was/is involved in bitter divorce action. The brother-in-law is the state trooper in question.

Reports are that the state trooper used his taser on his 10-year-old stepson. Said trooper also shot a moose or elk or whatever out of season. Also, it's said the state trooper drank beer while driving his patrol car. Palin urged the commissioner to fire the officer. The chief said they should wait it out until the trooper made "a mistake."

"A mistake"??? A mistake??? What in god's name constitutes a mistake in the chief's estimation? Well, anyway, said chief declined to fire the trooper, so Palin fired the chief. Now it's under investigation in Alaska, to determine whether Palin overstepped some boundaries or something. Since she's governor, I imagine she has the right to fire anyone she chooses. The trooper being her former brother-in-law is beside the point. But by the time the bleeding-heart libs get in gear on this, it'll be a point larger than Watergate.

Talked with a friend (well...a sort-of friend) this morning, who says McCain made a big mistake in choosing Palin. Quote: "Because Palin has no experience." Don't know about you, but I find lack of experience in government matters a plus. Look where the 'experienced' politicos have taken us.

Don't know where our country is heading....looks like a bumpy ride...but it might be a bit of fun. (Be sure to wear your mud gear.)

P.S. McCain trumped obama--at least temporarily-- where it comes to news announcements. But Gustav might well overshadow the GOP Convention. Details at eleven...

OK, Friends...I promise I'll ease back after this...don't want to weary you with my enthusiasm for the GOP v-p candidate. But please allow me one more 'Hurrah for Palin!'

I happened on a CNBC telecast tonight, an hour interview with Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin. The more I hear about her, the more I see & listen to her, the better I like her. I called a friend to alert her to the program. Don't know if the rest of you happened to see it. The interview caught my interest because most of the hour dealt with energy problems, specifically, America's current dependence on foreign oil, and Alaska's ability to provide a good stop-gap to that dependence.

I spent a big chunk of my working life in the petroleum industry. So I was extremely impressed with Gov. Palin's comments. The lady knows her stuff. She's done her homework, and she knows what the oil industry is all about. She spoke with great pride in her state, its beauty and its resources. Her greatest passion, though, seems to be the people who live there. If she's so aware of the well being of Alaska's citizens, I think she'll be the same concerning all Americans. She seems to have the mind set to do the best on all counts, including proving to the continental U.S. that Alaska can make a tremendous economic contribution to this country. She's FOR drilling the oil reserves now, and she's all for exploring alternative energy sources.

A healthy oil industry contributes tremendous taxes to a state. It offers big salaries and great benefits. She said, "The government doesn't have to pay huge amounts on health care and other benefits, when the jobs are in place, offering salaries and benefits." Wow! A capitalist! Free enterprise!! If enterprise and capitalism is healthy, government doesn't have to step in with welfare handouts. This idea doesn't set well with Big Brother Government. In fact, the liberal element can't even comprehend the concept.

But I'm glad that Gov. Palin understands it. I'm glad she cares about citizens -- the People. I'm glad she is enthusiastic about industry and the work ethic.
Gov. Palin referred to ConocoPhillips throughout the interview, as well as BP Petroleum for whom her husband worked.

I spent 15 years of my working life, employed by Conoco. A company with drilling prospects on Alaska's North Slope. and a company involved with constructing that ginormous pipeline. (A year of my Conoco experience was with Continental Pipeline Company. Love those pipeliners---good people.) Anyway, it was also with pride that I heard Gov. Palin make several references tonight to ConocoPhillips. (Philliips wasn't in the picture when I was a Conocoan.)

Well, it was good to re-live some old "company spirit." But most of all, I was further impressed with Sarah 'Barracuda' Palin. She's got the Right Stuff on many counts.

"Heeeeyyyyy Joe, where ya goin' with that gun in your hand?" A little bit of Jimi Hendrix folks, cause that's what it's gonna take for joey to win this one. Can he debate Sarah without blowin' his top? Doubt it....can he do it without resorting to 'body slams'....doubt that also. Sarah is probably the best news to hit the air and TV waves in a long damn time, she's a real person who has strong family values, character and a zest and zeal for life; check out the fact that she carried a Downs syndrome baby to full term while still governing Alaska...not an easy task...of course her family helped out, that's more example of family values and the character her and her husband have instilled in their children and live by.

Sarah isn't 'run of the mill' or 'par'...Sarah's well past that, in fact...she brings more to the Republican ticket than either oilslick obama or joey biden; more in character, honesty and knowledge....she has governed a State, had to make the hard decisions and done the right thing....not for show...but because it was right for the residents of Alaska. Y'all better watch how ya handle Sarah, she's a fighter, a straight up fighter....not a 'thief in the night' type fighter like most politicians...Sarah will stand toe to toe with her opponent.

Movin' on to the peanut farmer, jimmy what in the world is wrong with your noggin? That might be a silly question because he's shown time and again that his noggin is E-M-P-T-Y! Your stupit statement that John McCain is 'milking' every chance he can to reference his Vietnam Experience is absurd....do you not remember john efn kerry? You know, the producer and director of films ala, michael moore. The one who admitted to shooting a wounded VC and saying all Nam Vets were on a killing, pillaging spree like Genghis Khan. Give it a break jimmy, you ain't anything but a tired ol peanut farmer whose only real accomplishment is habitat for humanity...which I salute by the way. Other than that, you failed the USA miserably by doing nothing to free the hostages taken by the now leader of iran....just think for a minute jimmy, had you done the right thing then, he might not be building nukes and threatening Israel; yet the democrats never mention that, only that obl is still around...but is he? A person would think that he or his 2nd in command would have released something relating to the premature inauguration of oilslick hussein obama.

So, wondering why I started this missive with this image? Paying close attention to the World around me and hoping for the best, I tuned into the opening of the democrat national convention opening round of 'making silly'. As I was listening but really doing something else, I heard the announcement that the invocation was to be given....I was literally amazed to say the least. Here at the dnc, the same people responsible for the omission of any reference to our God, Our lord Jesus Christ...were about to...GASP...open their convention with a prayer? I thought, well that's all well and good but I'll come un-glued if God Himself is mentioned...lo and behold, He was....I reached for my roll of duct tape, kept handy as advised by Glenn Back, to keep my head from exploding while listening to democrats and other various idiots.

After dinner and after watching some evening news, I busied myself helping my 8 year old Son with homework and getting him ready for bed...tuning back into the convention, caroline kennedy came on, introducing her uncle, you know, the one who drove his car off the bridge at Chappaquiddick, saving himself and letting the pregnant MaryJo Kopechne drown. I listened as caroline spoke of her Father JFK, not the most perfect person in the World, but one who staunchly loved and supported our Country....a man whom I did and continue, to admire. I started to gag violently when caroline said that 'uncle teddy' represented love and compassion...I'm sure MaryJo's Family would have a comment or two as to that...I started to leave the room but out of respect for her Father, I listened till the end of her 'invocation' of teddy, a Catholic who is for abortion, for partialbirth abortion, for amnesty for illegal aliens (sue me if that 'term' offends you)....when that fat face, red-nosed and all, filled the screen, I started to get up, then the yacht was shown....I flew out of the room. What a Hippocratic jerk 'uncle teddy' is, all the money he has in out of country, tax sheltered accounts and he's gonna try to convince us....that he is one for the masses, the poor, downtrodden masses? Zip up your fly teddy, I know it's not raining. The audacity of that individual...! I realize that he's fighting a bad (is there a good?) form of cancer and I feel for the innocents who really like the old sh*thead and for all sufferers of that malady but what I feel, because I did not watch or listen, he was doing was all about himself and nothing more. He couldn't even carry his Brother's dirty underwear, JFK I'm meaning. The images of him and his drunken nephew willie k. smith in that Palm Beach courtroom are still vivid....it showed that, like in 'The GodfatherII', all one has to do, is show up in court to influence either a jury or a witness.....no words need to be spoken.

Later, against my own better judgement, I listened to the enlightened one's spouse; as Harry Carey would say....'Holy Cow'! Talk about a 'makeover'...the mean-spirited michelle obama started spewing more than I thought I could take. Saying things like...even if we do not agree with one another, we should treat people with dignity and respect; tell that to your hubby's campaign manager sweetheart and have them get off Cindy McCain....I haven't heard, nor heard of, Mrs. McCain saying anything detrimental about our Country like you did. Why are they dragging Cindy thru the mud, the blood and the beer? Mrs. obama said a couple phrases that perked my interest. one about the 'World' not being what it could or should be....when did we, as a Nation, take over the World in order to make it better? Did she mean her oilslick hubby would actually re-make the World into a more better place? History reminds me of an individual who tried doing that back in the late 30's, he wanted to 'cleanse' the World and create a super race; michelle, that would not have included you or your Family. He was defeated in 1945 after wreaking havoc world-wide with his fascist buddies and the imperial japanese leaders.....and madonna wants to liken Geo. W. Bush to that man? Give me a break!

This is not an apology michelle, but I'm sorry....your entire spiel appeared directed more to the black community than to all of America. All the make-up and mooshie words spoken so sweetly cannot dissuade me from the racist image you so ingrained in the minds of Americans, not once, but twice saying for the first time in your adult life you were proud of your Country. Were you an adult on 9/11? Please michelle, enlighten us as to your feelings on and after 9/11....or do you stand by your Minister, the rev. wright?

Schools and the problem with them:

The problem with schools is not the schools themselves...it's the restrictions placed upon the Principals and Teachers, placed by idiots like obama, whose solution seems to be just throw more money at them and they'll get better...not true, way enough money is spent now. The real problem lies with the few 'bad apples' and Parents who do not parent! I don't want to hear about 'It takes two incomes to make ends meet'...that's only because people have a way of 'keepin' up with the Jones', or like big government, throwing money at the kids to keep them occupied: video games instead of books, calculators instead of doing the work in their heads, television instead of study, obesity instead of exercise. To quote Mick Jaegger and The Rolling Stones, "You can't always get what you want, but if you try, you'll get what you need". Our wants are taking precedence over our needs. Wake up America! The mess we have now was and is, caused by the way our children have been raised. We cannot expect Teachers to teach and parent, they are underpaid for their value now...let discipline be re-instated in the schools, trash the stupid PC garbage, if a student doesn't pass the requirements for advancement...let them repeat that grade! Morality has to be emphasised, not ignored and yes, PRAYER needs to be in schools! There is no way that there is a conflict with Church and State by eliminating God, Our Lord Jesus Christ, or any reference to them from schools and other public buildings...that's what our Country was founded by, that's what made our Country great and the lack of it now, is evident in the behavior of our children. They are the future, they are a non-replenishable resource; they cannot be wasted.

Now don't get all 'up in arms', not all families are as described as above, but it's harder on those who raise the children right if they are under constant peer pressure from those that weren't.

I watched the SaddleBack Debate this past Saturday...what can I say? obama was his usual lying, dance around the questions self; makes me wonder just exactly why anyone would even consider voting for this loser. He was a STATE LEGISLATOR in 2002, how could he have voted for or against the resumption of hostilities in Iraq because hussein defied the 17 resolutions to come clean on WMD's, besides breaking the cease fire agreement. He says it was wrong to go into Iraq then why did he not vote to cut the funding? Never an answer from oilslick obama, just more questions; his objection to a baby birthed live after a failed, induced, late term abortion is simply condoning murder. His statement in the primaries that he was and would, raise his 6 and 9 year old daughters with strong moral convictions but if they made a mistake, he didn't want them "punished" by having to care for and raise a child is another of his obaminations. Good Lord people, what is this individual about?

An increase in taxes would stifle employment, place a larger burden on the lower income families who would lose their jobs and inflate the welfare rolls, what's left of our industrial plants will vanish overseas because they won't be able to turn a profit (which is why they went into business in the first place), stockholders want to see a return on their investments; that won't happen with oilslick obama at the helm. More plant closings, more jobs lost, tax revenues will plummet and we will become exactly what obama, billary and the democrats want us to be; a socialist nation. A nation dependant on foreign aide, foreign oil....a nation 'without'. Sound appealing to you? Then vote obama, but I remind you, beware of what you wish for. I feel safe in saying that every citizen of the U.S.A. wants our Troops home, I do, but not at the price of losing, bin laden studied us well, VietNam, Lebanon, Mogidishu; he believes we, as a nation do not have the will to see us thru these times, imagine if the Nation felt this way during WWII...you think ToJo or Hitler would be good leaders of the 'Free World'? Absolutely not, they wanted to exterminate first the Jews and then do you really think they'd stop there? No, Hitler wasn't real thrilled with blacks and other 'minorities', ToJo was more 'in-tune' with oilslick obama in another way, Japanese soldiers used to play 'catch' with babies using bayonets.

These things peaked my curiosity

I find myself extremely vexed, and am sure there are more indicators were I to look a little farther, of how hussein obama would be taxing and spending our money. In my experience, these planes used for the respective campaigns are either bought or rented with campaign donor funds. John McCain opted for a Boeing 737, not a really small plane but highly used a a kind of 'super commuter'; obama on the other hand, opted for a Boeing 757 AE200 I believe it is. The 757 is a really big plane, uses a lotta fuel (hey al gore, obama's carbon footprint is way bigger than McCain's), costs more to maintain and I'm wondering how much it cost to have the original 757 re-painted, sans American Flag. I don't see one on McCain's plane either but there is this only one pic I have of it. hussein obama had his plane re-painted and delivered to him at Amman Jordan with the symbol of his campaign along with 3 red stripes; what that signifies is anyones guess.

As you see pictured below, compared to McCain's plane, obama's is quite larger; raises the question in my mind that if this is an example of his spending habits, we damn sure do not need him in the White House, matter of fact...we do not need him in Washington D.C. at all. He calls himself an American, he's running for the most powerful position in the Free World, yet he replaces 'Old Glory' with some kind of strange symbol that, if it's supposed to represent the U.S., it does a very bad job. On the other hand, is it what hussein obama perceives the World would/should be represented by? Is obama running for World President? I mean, you really gotta question this guy's motives and agenda; everyday he sounds more arrogant, more like he's 'the one we've all been awaiting'. Well Senator, I for one heard you speak at the '04 democrat convention, you said all the right words, laid the ground work like a Generalissimo for this very campaign. Yes Senator, you scare me...but not because 'you don't look like any of the Presidents on our currency', but because each day along with showing more and more arrogance, your 'covers' are slipping off, exposing you for what you really are: a hate monger, a socialist bent on taking every aspect of the 'free market' and capitalism that has built, maintained and benefited every U.S. citizen. You Senator, are also racist, just the same as your wife, jeremiah wright, pfledger, loonie farrakhan (including his entourage), jesse jackson, al sharpton and your rapper bro, ludicrous.

Does this white patch in your 'symbol' represent a burqua? Are you that ashamed of Old Glory, the same Flag that flew over Ft. McHenry when the British were bombarding Baltimore and didn't fall; the same Flag designed and sewn by Betsy Ross to represent, identify and support our Revolution against the British? Is it the same Flag that you said represented oppression to other Countries in the World, the same flag that you refused to wear as a lapel pin till the heat got too hot for you? Your plane doesn't display our Flag proudly but you 'wrap' yourself in it every time you have a campaign speech....what a prime example of hypocrisy you portray. There's more barry but I am getting physically ill just thinking of what the United States of America would be like with your sorry, racist butt in the Oval Office, slick willie was bad, real bad, but you would most assuredly be an abomination. This is the second time you've been photographed wearing one of my USMC tee shirts, you didn't earn the right, you do not deserve the right and you do not appreciate what the tee shirt symbolizes. I find you arrogant, un-grateful and useless, not to mention un-fit to Command. I've known many MEN who have worn the insignia of Marine way more qualified to be President than you hussein, many who were not even officers, men like the two pictured below. Either one of whom are better suited than yourself; there are many men whom you didn't visit or acknowledge, that are far more suited to lead our Nation. I take the fact that you wear this tee shirt personally and it is an afront to myself and all who have served as Marines, are serving and will serve...you don't rate it, don't wear it!

Shakespeare asked...'To be or not to be', we gotta ask hussein obama if he's a natural born citizen or, even if he's a naturalized citizen. If naturalized, he's outta here/there/everywhere; one would imagine if all the things that have been floating around about his non 'authenticity' as a citizen are true, he'll be doin' that 'off the plane strut' in a cell with Bubba, bad luck to be so 'pretty' barry...XinLoi.

The certificate of live birth, pictured at the right here, causes some serious questions; this is the documentation that his campaign supplied for the 'Real McCoy'....does it appear to any of y'all that it's legit? Fathers race, stands out as questionable, 'African' encompasses a whole continent last time I looked....did obama's daddy live in Johannesburg? That's on the continent, Morocco? Liberia? Tanzania? Oh no, that's right, it was Kenya. Let's see now, 4August, '61, date of live birth...the common terminology to describe obama's daddy would have been 'negroid' or negro, not African. Was it done in this fashion to protect his radical mommy? Maybe to enable to pass himself when he entered his mommy's and GrandMommy's world? Maybe to help secure a good primary education? We all remember what the Country was like prior to 'Freedom Summer', obama said that the march to Selma was what encouraged his mommy and daddy to have him...but wait, that would be 3 years after obama was born, how can this be?

Finally, the campaign released the image (resembling the one at the top of this article). Hollyfield e-mailed it to the Hawaii Department of Health, which maintains such records, to ask if it was real. "It's a valid Hawaii state birth certificate," spokesman Janice Okubo told us.

Then the firestorm started. Israel Insider contacted Okubo several days. She could not refer to Obama's specific case, she said, because no one but an authorized family member can do so. But she did confirm that a valid "certification of live birth" would need to have an embossed seal and signature and that it can only be printed and mailed. There is no such thing as an electronic only certification.

In our previous article on this subject we published an example of a certified birth certificate of another Hawaiian citizen, Patricia DeCosta, reproduced below. The stamp and signature are reversed because the embossing is done from the back as per law, as Okubo noted is required by law.

Speaking to National Review Online, Okubo admitted that the Obama image lacked those required features but thought that perhaps the embossing was applied too lightly. Maybe so, but all the certificates we have seen have the embossed imprint clearly visible, as well as horizontal fold marks.

John McCain got a great deal of media attention when his citizen status was questioned, he was born in the Panama(Thanks peanut farmer, for giving it away)Canal Zone, to an active duty Father and his maternal Mother....both, citizens. It's not hard, I had to do it myself when I applied for a passport in '05...lost the original, obtained a certified, embossed, signed copy from the State/County I was born in; had to show it, even though I'd served Our Country in the Marine Corps for 4 years, was a combat Veteran of Vietnam, honorably discharged and held a valid drivers license(COLB was required for that also)....the point is, even with all that, I still had to produce my certificate for the passport; why is it so hard for obama? We got an email yesterday from Bryan Suits who has a radio show on KFI Los Angeles. He writes: "I have just received my State of Hawaii certified birth certificate for my 1964 debut on the planet earth. It looks....nothing like Obama's. We've scanned it at 72dpi, 300dpi. Nuthin. We can't make the emboss disappear. Also, we can't make THE FOLDS disappear!! How did FightTheSmears do it?

I got curious when I compared his (with the 2007 date bleed) to my old beat-up1986 copy. then I went online on June 13 and ordered the thing. It got here yesterday tri-folded in a state of Hawaii envelope. I called the State and asked if I could get an unfolded copy. No dice.

But Hollyfield is mistaken. There would be no need to invent a conspiracy among officials. All Obama needed to do would be to pass off an uncertified document as being certified. He may have done so unwittingly. Then the rest can follow without any need to conspire with any other official. They just take it on faith that the person is an American citizen. They don't check about the embossing requirements of the State of the Hawaii. They believe Obama. Why should they doubt him, certainly after he becomes a lawyer and a state senator? The officials believe that the claimed document is authentic, and therefore issue other documents, based on the phony one, buried deep in the documentary chain. Unwitting or not, however, the high stakes for basing one's citizenship on an uncertified birth certificate must be pretty obvious to the campaign now.

Nothing else explains why Obama's campaign refused to release the original paper document, to make this distracting controversy go way. Because Hollyfield is right about one thing:

"If this document is forged, a U.S. senator and his presidential campaign have perpetrated a vast, long-term fraud."

He didn't release a birth certificate, but an image of a purported "certification of live birth" that contains dubious features, lacks a traceable certificate number and -- as the Hawaiian state official Okubo admits -- lacks the stamp and signature required to make it valid.

There need be no conspiracy by state or federal officials, just a willingness to believe Obama and accept an image that might look real but might not be.

This whole campaign is a farce, the media won't ask the right questions of obama, yet they grill or ignore McCain; McCain is trying his best to run a 'clean' campaign, thing is, the democrats are still furious over the outcome of the 2000 election...for 8 years all they've said is 'we got robbed', they have been Presidential campaigning the whole time, never in my 61 years have I witnessed anything like it. Are we a Nation with a spine of steel or cooked linguine? hussein obama believes partial birth abortion is ok...use that as a litmus test, partial birth abortion is aborting the baby while it's in the birth canal.....if you feel that it isn't murder like obama, then vote for for him....you will get the 'change' that he preaches. Lot of ground to cover, so little time; I watched the ending of G.W. Bush's press conference yesterday, heard a lot of good stuff about how to fight the oil 'crisis'. He's signed off on lifting the ban for off-shore drilling and in the western states, of course the left controlled Congress will not follow suit...makes me wonder why. Are they so indebted to the environmental special interest groups that they value their support more than maintaining a strong USA? A USA not dependent on foreign oil? Common sense tells me that we should be energy independent, the resources are there so why does the democrat controlled Congress continue dragging their a**es? Nancy pelosi says oil companies already have land leased but she won't allow exploration or drilling....off-shore drilling technology has improved to the point that natural seepage caused by the Earth itself is allowing more oil to enter the oceans than man drilling for oil. Sea life in the areas around Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the panhandle of Florida....where the derricks are is flourishing. Damn it, China is drilling off our shores in International waters! It would seem to me that the left(socialists, marxists and stalinists)like the idea of keep us under their thumb; why do we put up with this crap? obama says we need to focus on conservation, bio-fuels and other forms of renewable energy...I agree, but not to the point of being held hostage by OPEC, the fat kid chavez and surprisingly, our own government. Federal taxes on a gallon of gas are ridiculous, then factor in the state and local tax....damn, if we conserve, they'll lose revenue and just tax us somewhere else. If all the smokers in the USA quit tomorrow, how will all that lost revenue be made up? All the non-smokers who look down their noses at smokers would scream louder that the 'little piggy who cried all the way home'.

After Dubya came part deux....the barak hussein obama comedy hour....listening to him was more than I could manage, I got physically ill. During the primaries, while he courted the left wing kooks, he was for immediate withdrawal from Iraq, then he was for a scheduled withdrawal within 16 months...well barry, we are on that course already...the draw down will happen according to how well things are progressing on the ground and then we'll be able to concentrate on the border region of Pakistan and Afghanistan...things already on the table. He conveniently left out iran(which borders with Iraq)and a U.S. presence there is definitely necessary until Iraq can repulse whatever iran throws their way. The iranians already have a number of missiles that will cover all of Iraq and soon will be nuclear...gee, that's a comforting thought. In all the times I've listened to obama speak I still marvel at his ability to sound like he has 'original thoughts'; campaigning as a new breed of politician, he sure as hell reverted back to the samo-samo political garbage. He'll throw the race card in a heartbeat, he'll appeal to all 'for the sake of the children'...his wifey goes out and makes outrageous statements and he screams 'FOUL', you can't do that. As a Nation, we do need a 'uniter'...obama is not a uniter...I'm not real sure John McCain is one either...even if he was or is, the left will continue saying electing McCain is the same as 4 more years of Bush and their only real reason for saying that is sour-grapes after the '00 election....get over it or, as george soros likes to say...move-on-dot-org.

Back in the 70's(I really hate to think that far back...I start tripping over peanut shells)Reggie Jackson of the NY Yankees was quoted or mis-quoted as saying he was the straw that stirred the drink....well, I believe obama is the arsenic in the drink and michelle is the lace that she'll drape over both of them in order mask their real intentions....obama and michelle are dividers, not uniters.

Where and when will it all end? The 'word police' are out again; I just learned that besides all the other words spoken that are found by blacks to be offensive or racist, there are more added practically on a daily basis.

As a kid growin' up in the 50's, I loved to have 'angel food cake' with strawberries, Hostess 'Devil's Food' cupcakes with the creme filling...when I grew older and Star Wars burst upon the scene, I heard of the 'Black Hole' in space...this was a matter eater, things got swallowed up never to be seen or heard of from again. Was I raised in a racist home by racist parents? No, I wasn't...now if I ask for either 'angel food cake' or devil's food cake', am I considered a racist? Or if I refer to 'the Black Hole', am I a racist? If I choose not to vote for hussein obama because I don't go along with his politics, am I a racist? From what I've been reading on-line and seeing on TV, not to forget radio, it seems that by using the above listed words/phrases, I am. I've always been taught by my Parents to treat all people the same, no biases at all...I do this to this day...it's the only right thing to do, but when someone shows that they are biased or judgemental or just plain wrong, I form my opinion of that person by what he practices and says.

My opinion of the pictured individual is extremely low, I read on-line this morning that 'angel food cake' is a white girl, 'devil's food cake' is a black girl and the 'black hole' somehow became a racist remark....common sense must have been a victim of the black hole as I don't see many using it.

You don't know the meaning of the true joy of Parenthood until your little girl asks for some 'Hose Time' with her.

My youngest 'Daddy's Girl', spent weekends and summers with me growing up. How I long for those 'simple days' again; we went every-where together, spent days at the beach...played board games and competed with each other in naming songs on the radio the quickest.

There were three songs that really stand out in my memory; 'The Great White North' by Bob and Doug MacKenzie with Rush's Geddy Lee helping with the vocals; 'Twilight Zone' by Golden Earring and 'In the Air Tonight' by Phil Collins. When the big drummer part started, we'd both bang away on our 'air drums', when we'd hear the start of the great white north, we'd always try to be the first to tell the other to 'take off, you hoser'; I still to this day refer to her as 'The Hose' and the two super grand sons she's blessed me with as 'The Sons of Hose'. Twilight Zone was included because of the video on MTV (back when MTV was worth watching), the chorus girls would dance and there was one who 'caught my eye', I'd say, I like that one and The Hose would say she had 'fat legs', I'd say no she don't, yes she does, no she don't...this routine carried over to the Van radio. To this day, all three things are a part of our lives.

My 'little girl' is 32 now and it's like there has been no time elapse...we're just as 'slap-stick' as ever.
The point of all this is simply this, if as a parent, you spend time..real time...with your children as they grow up, show an interest in them and what they do, be there when they need guidance...they'll grow up as productive, well adjusted adults. They won't be like you see (and I'm sure it's not the majority) on TV where the teens and now even the elementary schoolers are doing things most of us won't do as adults...killing homeless people, raping, doing all kinds of drugs and then dieing before they have a chance to live. They grow much too fast, never having time to enjoy their childhood, we have to tell them things about the world before they are really old enough to understand what's going on.

It will make little difference if the parents are divorced as long as they are civil with each other; caring for the children should be first and foremost, keeping the arguments (hell, you're divorced), to a minimum, not 'bad talking' the 'other parent' or using the kids as pawns, this will only damage the kids, you may feel good about yourself, but at the cost of the children? That's extreme selfishness, no matter who was 'in the right' or who was 'in the wrong'.

Same goes for parents who both work, you must sacrifice to be with your children instead of them being 'latch-key' kids. If you have to, work different shifts, work out of the home...just remember that you also have to make time for each other; 'date' your wife or husband on weekends, keep the spark alive, your family will be healthier for it.

Do these things, they are simple things not difficult so keep it that way. Don't live beyond your means, keeping up with the 'Jones', time spent laughing and playing with your children are worth way more than any material thing you want...see to your 'needs', not your 'wants'.

Keep in mind, there is more at stake today, in this world, than at any other time; our Country will need our young to grow strong in mind, be able to deal with life's problems and be independent. As a country,we were that before, we can be that again and still...but it has to start in the home...Respect, Responsibility and Discipline must be earned and taught by Parents, Teachers will be able to teach better and the schools will be able to re-enforce these values if the kids have a good start and support from the home.

Yesterday was Independence Day, 4July1776 was the birthdate of our Nation; how far have we gone in a short 232 years? I read a piece by Pat Buchanan that got me thinking, independence, just what is it? It means to not be dependent on any Nation, Country or individual other than ourselves; same as when a Son or Daughter leaves their parents home and becomes independent, able to care for and function for themselves. Our Nation declared independence from Great Britain, paid a dear cost for it, stumbled a few times but righted itself to become the most prosperous Nation on earth.

Look around now and ask yourself who we are 'independent' from now...we rely on foreign oil, we borrow from Europe, Japan and China...how is it that we have to borrow from these Nations yet we send billions upon billions of dollars for foreign aid?

"And the questions arise: If the men of '76, who led those small and vulnerable states, were willing to sacrifice their lives, fortunes and sacred honor for America's independence, what is the matter with us"?

The above is one question Pat asked in his column, it's a good one too; how many use the rights and freedoms...the very independence that was fought for through all 232 years...and put nothing back? If you have 10K in the bank and just withdraw without replenishing, you'll be broke real quick, same goes for our freedoms, rights and independence. Out there, on the fringes of humanity, are people who want to see the USA fall flat on it's face, they are more than willing to help that come about...why is that? It's kinda like cuttin' off your nose to spite your face...the USA has always been the beacon of hope world-wide, the symbol of Freedom, a place where hard work and good moral values insured a decent life, if not great wealth....endless hope and the promise of a bright future. Seems too many people have been making withdrawals, and not enough deposits.

What a novel idea, realizing that this is 2008 and not 1787, we are still way over-taxed, the revenue raised from import tariffs has been swapped out for individual income taxes...Federal and State! I see our independence starting to fade a little.

"Third, in his Farewell Address, the greatest state paper in U.S. history, Washington admonished his countrymen to steer clear of permanent alliances and to stay out of Europe's wars. Rarely in the 19th century did the United States divert from the course set by Washington and Hamilton".

While it's prudent to attempt staying out of war, the most non-prudent thing would be to enter into permanent alliances, with the exception of NATO after WWII, the line should have been drawn. The Allies we had in WWI and II are taking a page from Washington's Farewell Address, with the exception so far of Great Britain, and putting his words about staying out of war to their betterment...let the U.S. do it, they are the lone super-power, let them police the World. There are nations abroad that back-stab us every chance they can get away with it, Israel is our only real ally in the middle east, if they fall it'll be wide open for iran. After the Embassy debacle of '79, they think they can take us on and win, what have we done to have them think otherwise? Nothing.

In closing, think about Independence, think about the Liberties and Rights that our Fore Fathers fought for and the Constitution they crafted. Maybe with enough people taking part, we can become a Nation of the people, by the people and for the people....of the United States of America...not the global hypocrisy of the new world order.

In my humble opinion, the 'sooner' was activated by the '06 mid-term election returning the liberals to power in both Housres. They campaigned on bi-partisanship, they said they would run a 'clean' Congress, they said they'd work to lower gas prices...their approval rating doesn't bear any of their 'campaign promises' out. There has been less done to the positive than I have ever witnessed, unity that was promised turned into a greater divide; they have weakened our Country by the few things they have done, same goes for the Supreme Court. Nancy pelosi and dirty harry reid are prime examples that BS can actually walk and talk, pelosi pandered to iran, her home state of California has allowed fairy weddings, not fairy tale weddings, just plain fairy. Dirty harry reid has prospered by sweet land deals rivaled only by hussein obama and tony rezko; dirty harry reid is pulling the rug out from under our Warriors in Iraq, claiming we can not win there...harry either needs ne glasses or hearing aides, a few more brain cells for the both of them probably wouldn't help either; it'd be like throwin more good after bad. Both are wasted individuals who care only about themselves and not the Country...if that is interpreted as unpatriotic, then so be it, I think they are and it's my right to think, feel and say as I will.

POLICE sniffer dogs trained to spot terrorists at railway stations may no longer come into contact with Muslim passengers – after complaints that it is against the suspects’ religion.A report for the Transport Department has raised the prospect that the animals should only touch passengers’ luggage because it is considered “more acceptable”.

In the Muslim faith, dogs are deemed to be spiritually “unclean”. But banning them from touching passengers would severely restrict their ability to do their job. The report follows trials of station security measures in the wake of the 2005 London suicide bomb attacks. In one trial, some female Muslims said the use of a body scanner was also unacceptable because it was tantamount to being forced to strip.British Transport Police last night insisted it would still use sniffer dogs – which are trained to detect explosives – with any passengers regardless of faith, but handlers would remain aware of “cultural sensitivities”.

Critics said the complaints were just the latest example of minority religions trying to force their rules and morals on British society.Tory MP Philip Davies said: “As far as I am concerned, everyone should be treated equally in the face of the law and we cannot have people of different religious groups laying the law down. I hope the police will go about their business as they would do normally.”

News of the security setback came as the Government yesterday admitted that installing 100 per cent airport-style screening at rail and Tube stations was “not feasible”.Instead extra sniffer dogs and X-ray machines will be used to search passengers.During the trials, passengers stopped in London had the exterior of their bags checked by dogs. But in Brighton, dogs patrolled the station concourse and were walked past passengers by their handlers.The report concluded: “The use of sniffer dogs was generally problematic for Muslim respondents on religious grounds if there was the potential for the dog to make direct contact with them.”

When Muslims have washed for certain forms of worship, they would have to repeat the ritual if they came into contact with a dog.One young Asian man told researchers: “We are not supposed to have dogs. It is against our religion.”Another Asian man said: “I don’t mind dogs in the park or walking near me, but sniffer dogs? I don’t think that’s right, on the station, the way they use them.”Massoud Shadjareh, chairman of the Islamic Human Rights Commission, said even dogs touching baggage would be an issue for a Muslim preparing to pray. But he stressed that it should be easy to allow dogs to check passengers without physical contact.“There is a way of dealing with this and we just need to be sensitive,” he said.

In another trial on the Heathrow Express platform at Paddington station in London, there were instances when the body scan – which creates an image on a monitor – was considered unacceptable by female Muslims, the report said.One Muslim woman complained: “Sometimes I wear clothing which is not so tight. Black national anthem' stirs controversy for city

Windmill farms are a good way to go, only drawback is putting them where the most wind is and if that impairs a view from a fat cat liberal, well, you'll just have to move them where people less affluent live; ever notice how they all have these great ideas about how we should sacrifice but they continue livin' high off the hog?

Index the minimum wage to match inflation with annual adjustments, after increasing it from $5.85 to $9.50.....Lord have mercy, damn near every small business nationwide would feel that and have to lay off workers by the thousands just to offset the cost....smooth barry, real smooth. Next coffin nail for the economy is forcing businesses to provide healthcare for all workers or give the money to 'big brother' so they can provide it. Now I ask this question....is that for total cost or does the worker have to kick in something? National Health Insurance Exchange....getting even closer to socialism/communism here...companies agreeing to this could then offer 'affordable health plans'; for who? Businesses or workers? I smell the scent of snake-oil, watch closely...which shell has the pea under it. A cool $50-65 billion for this slight of hand trick....smoooooth barry, real smooth.

Double capital gains tax to nearly 30%, that'll give great incentive for the younger workers to save for retirement....wait! He also wants to raise the ceiling on FICA from $102,000...another smooth one barry. A $4,000 tax credit for tuition and fees(what 'fees'?)in return for community or national service....kinda sounds like an 'enlistment draft'...draftees didn't make that much for 2 years active service, could this be another peace corps? If you're 'middle-class' and making $75,000 per Annam, you get a "genuine" tax cut. How much of that 75 grand is net income? State tax, medicaid, FICA, etc, etc and so on....these middle-class families would also be contributing to doubling the families eligible for earned income....Robin Hood at least gave to the poor, taking from the rich but not hoodwinking anyone...oh yeah, and barry would let the Bush tax cuts expire in 2010...that's like taking 2 steps forward then 5 back; does anyone really want to go back to the late 70's, gas lines when available, no gas most of the time, inflation enough to fill a hot air balloon?

If jobs are the concern, the way to create more jobs and opportunities for Americans, is to have thriving business, they'll be hiring more employees and taxes collected will increase. It's not a difficult concept to understand....a lot paying a little will generate more cash than a very few paying a lot. We're all concerned about job 'out-sourcing', this came about because the taxes levied on business were too high to be able to turn a profit...that is Capitalism...the left wants socialism, that's where the State controls everything...has it worked? Ask the Soviet Union.

Republican Conservatives have been acused of using 'scare tactics' to swing voters their way...that is not the case at all...I'll cite as an example my soon to be 90 year old Mother...after listening to obama talk about all the taxes he'll put in place and what programs he'll finance them with, she came to me and said, "If obama gets elected, I want all my money out of the bank". Now Mom has been a democrat all her life but the current democrats scare hell out of her, why? Because she sees that only rich democrats want to be able to saty that way, that they'll walk all over the 'little guy' to get all the power and control possible...are wee as a Nation, that damn gullible? Think about it...obama wants to take our hard earned money/savings and give it away to illegals, people who are not Citizens of the U.S., people who attach themselves here and bleed our systems of every resource; squatters one and all.

John McCain has changed his outlook and opinions on a few things and he's called a 'flip-flopper', in actuality, he's intelligent enough to see the real change that is needed for the U.S. to continue on as the Greatest Nation under God...think long and hard on this while you are contemplating your choices in November...all the way down from the Presidential election to the local level, because that's where it all starts...at the roots.

Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people why today's American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any longer. The 'great society' is not so great, it's a rotting society with no one held accountable or responsible for their actions...instead, we have sensitivity traing, anger management, frivilous lawsuits because 'common sense' has died with the real and accurate interpretation of our Constitution. This raises another point: the Supreme Court ruled this past Thursday that illegal combatants, captured on the battlefield or around the globe(don't kid yourselves, this is a global conflict)are entitled to the same rights and protections our Constitution provides for our REAL citizens! Something has gone totally wrong here folks, can you imagine hitler, mussolini or tojo being offered these protections? A taliban fighter, drops his weapon, puts his hands in the air and is taken prisoner...then released by the very court that we hold as the last and final appeal to interpret our Constitunal rights....how in the hell did we get so far out of line? Been awhile since my last missive, not because I wanted it, but because I was getting really tired of all the negativity created by the hussein obama camp. Not to forget all the lies and innuendo that has come about in the past few days as the picture above is an example of. Was jeremiah wright just the 'Pastor' hussein obama claims now, or was/is the mentor and spiritual advisor that obama said he was in the first place? Ya know, it's a funny thing about lies, half-truths, miss-spoken words and innuendo...and that is, you can't remember what you said before without the help of a notebook..going by just the number of lies hussein obama has said in the last week, there isn't a notebook big enough in this world, nor anyone capable of researching the words he's already spoken. Day to day I ask myself, 'Did he say that?' 'Because that isn't what I heard him say yesterday.' For instance...barry said in July of '07 that he would sit with the heads of state of iran, cuba, venezuela...and that iran was not a serious threat to the U.S., later amended to, they are a grave threat and that he's been saying that for years. So, which is it? Are they a grave threat or not a serious threat? Will you sit down and talk with no pre-conditions, the the heads of these rouge, terror sponsoring states, or won't you? It's absolutely amazing what comes out of these mouths that are politicians running for office, the only time 'Fred Flintstone' matters, is during a campaign...after that, it's back to the gravel pit...these 'people' no longer 'care, want to protect or govern by the Constitution nor by the will of the People. Campaigning against hrc, barry had nothing nice or good to say about her...well, I can't argue that point, as she had nothing nice to say about him; now, we're supposed to believe that they will support each other once the primaries and convention are over. Balderdash! That is one of the biggest lies propagated by BOTH of them! And, yes, they do think the population is gullible enough to swallow that...how condescending, arrogant and egotistical is that?

Hearing obama speak, reminds me of what I saw watching the TV show, 'The 20th Century' as a kid growing up after WWII...hearing hitler speak to the cheering masses about National Pride, about jobs, about how he'd make a better World....now I ain't saying that barry is hitler, although hitler, like barry, were thought to be the Anti-Christ; what I'm saying is how similar they sound, promising one thing but delivering something else. We all know what hitler did, how racist he was, how 'elite' he thought he and his cohorts were...right to the bitter end; well, that's another point I feel needs addressed....RACISM! Much as it get discussed, the attention that it draws...it still exists...it exists because too many people will not admit that great strides have been made to exterminate it, if a successful black man or woman makes a name for themselves...they are labeled as 'uncle toms or aunt jemimahs', not by white America but by black America, by jesse jackson, al sharpton, loonie louie farrakhan, et al. Even those that are successful, michelle comes to mind. Is there white racism? Yes, anyone would be a fool to think otherwise, but even that would seem to have pushed by the wayside as the nomination for barry gets closer and closer. Will I vote for obama....simply put, no....not because of skin color but because I don't think he's got the credentials to become President, he hasn't been in politics long enough to have suitable knowledge on World Affairs and his choice of 'friends, acquaintances, backers and political advisers are some of the most racist, terroristic and coat-tail hangers on that I've ever seen listed....when the time comes, be sure you have done all your research, asked and received all answers to questions so you'll be a legitimate voter, not a voter that only says "I want to be part of History."

Memorial Day

Originally known as “Decoration Day”, May 30th was established in 1868 by the leader of a Union Army veterans’ organization as a day to honor “comrades who died in defense of their country during the late rebellion.” After World War I, Americans began including those who had died in all of America's wars in the May 30th observances and in 1971, Congress declared Memorial Day a national holiday to be celebrated annually on the last Monday in May.

'Memorial Day' is now officially over, that is, over for the money-changers, merchants and those who's only reason for observing Memorial Day is the 3 day off weekend, the backyard bar-b-que and the drink fest that results in more death of innocents on our hi-ways.

As for me, my Sons and Daughters, it's still Decoration Day, a day of reverence, a solemn day of remembrance of our Fallen War dead....a day to go to any cemetery where our relatives, friends or just acquaintances are laid to rest and 'put the flowers of Spring' on their graves to symbolize a 'new beginning'. We take time to pay respects to those who paid the ultimate price so we may enjoy the freedoms we have, the civilization of the World and the peace that is all so elusive. The backyard bar-b-que was only started that I can remember, because it took most of the day for our Parents to make the rounds of graves after stopping at a nursery to get fresh potted flowers, to cut fresh flowers from our yards to be put in containers of water and for us kids to watch the parade of Veterans still living paying homage to their fallen Brothers. After dark, there would be a giant fireworks display at the amusement park or wherever they were available. It was good to be a young kid growing up in the fifties, Patriotism abounded, respect was always shown and morality was at a high level; no, it wasn't all peaches and cream but for the most part, the bums and immorals were not openly displayed...not like in today's World

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation, under God, indivisable with Liberty and Justice for all.

Here we go again....michelle is 'above' any scrutiny and hussein obama finds it 'un-acceptable' to call into question her remarks....well, let's see, I'll let you be the judge:

'Progressively worse?' Seems to me an education received Princeton University(obtained, if I'm not mistaken)by the benefit of 'affirmative action', ie: michelle had the benefit of being black and a minority factored into her entrance exam, is definitely not going in a worse direction. Life isn't 'easy' michelle, that's why we all work! Now if by 'easy' you mean having everything handed to you by welfare and other handouts, there won't be a shortage of people you'll be meeting.

A democracy is, unless I miss-understood growing up, the rule of the majority but also where everyone has an equal can to succeed thru hard work...where does it say that the workers are supposed to provide for the non-workers? This week, the UK removed The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it 'offended' the Muslim population which claims it never occurred. This is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving in to it.

Are we now saying their sacrifice was for nothing? That so many gave their lives so our politicians can now just turn over the World to these extremists? Europe will look like the 'Killing Fields' of Cambodia, 'infidels'(so called by islam)will be summarily eradicated. Far fetched? Don't be fooled, the wolf in iran is wearing sheep's skin, the wild boar in Afghanistan is dressed as a goat herder...similarly, the sultans, clerics, leaders of China, N. Korea and Venezuela are also cloaked in 'harmless garb'. Peanut Butter jimmy was asleep at the wheel when our Embassy was illegally taken by the little terrorist ruling iran...an attack on any Embassy is the same as an attack on the Country it represents...how many times have our Embassies been attacked? How many times have U.S. citizens been murdered by these gutless 'jihadists?' The Towers were bombed in '93, The USS Cole was attacked in '00, what was our response?

Don't be fooled by slick worded politicos...when they lie, flip-flop or pander...call them on it; don't vote for them.

Every Memorial Day we Honor our Warriors who payed the supreme sacrifice, lets start Honoring them by keeping our Country safe as they did, defend it from ALL ENEMIES, FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC, as they did. Stand up America and be counted....if you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything.
